Well now I'm craving human.
No internet for a whole day?I might die.
I think he's referring to the British mentality of queuing, which would be a new panel.
What bjaelke said. We queue better than anyone else in the world.Thought he meant chasing the money

Not to disparage the unfairness of this, but doesn't the recent evidence show that there's no link between 1st cousins and genetic mutations in their children? There seems to be little logical reasons why 1st cousins shouldn't marry beyond eww it's gross, which funnily enough applies to the gay marriage side too.

thinking that marriage between cousins is gross at least has a basis in our concepts of family and relations. Thinking a same sex couple is gross is simply immature. I didn't see a point beyond a simple analogy.
Did he do anything more than just equate the two base reactions to the relationships?

there are enhanced birth defect rates for 1st cousins' offspring. Whether it's significant enough for it to be regulated is debatable I guess, but it's not simply eww it's gross.
As I said in my original post which you apparently didn't read properly was that modern evidence suggests that is not the case. I may be mistaken but I was sure that there was no significance in the difference between birth rate defects from 1st cousin couples and others.
My anthropology professor once said that the best success rate of birth (awkward wording, but by that I mean free of disorders, mutations, etc) is between first cousins. DOn't know if true though..

Not to derail the thread even longer, but gay sex is gross to a lot of people. The repulsion of anal sex is much of the reason why people feel opposed to it.
I, for one, think anal sex has about as much appeal as a 24/7 Bob Dylan radio station.

anal sex is not a requirement, and certainly not particularly relevant to a female same-sex relationship.
Either way, grow up a little.
Hence why many (most) men don't think lesbian sex is repulsive.
It works though.![]()
