my eyes are ninjas

Mine can be as well if i allow it, but i normally don't mind spoilers.

In this thread it´s really hard to tell sometime. My sincerest apologies.

No problem and i should have placed the /sarcasm tag just in case

Anyway, Poseidon! Fuck yeah! The most interesting thing of all there, though, is that Robin has been aware that the ancient weapon was on Fishman Island the entire time and never said a word. Very sneaky, Robin.

Good stuff. More Void Century stuff = always a good thing.

She doesn't care about finding weapons and just does it for history plus its likely thats the one she read on Fishman island made her recall the one from Skypiea

Bleach
I dont know why i read this anymore. Kubo this whole arc has been fail.

Naruto
Killer Bee being a boss? Kakashi AND Might Guy coming back? YES PLEASE!!!

One Piece
Ugh. I dont want Jinbei to join their crew. He was a Shichibukai. He was and still is too much of a badass to work under Luffy.

HxH

Alright chapter. I don't know why we care about this 4th rule, but whatever, I guess it complicates the situation or something.

bisonyes.gif.

Hunter x Hunter

Belief in Gotoh :(

Togashi with more politics, those 2 servants are funny and DO NOT FUCK WITH KILLUA.

Dude is up their with the top tier characters of this series and the best thing so far is that the MC is nowhere close in that ranking :).

HxH

I guess its due to the fact that an official hunter can't do anything (due to the article) to a another official hunter unless the latter commits a very serious crime.

These guys might think that everyone should be fair game once they commit a crime, no matter the severity?

One Piece
YAH, NO JINBEI! They haven't left yet but hopefully it stays that way. And I can't wait to learn more about the Void Century! OP world building is always the most interesting part of the story

Bleach
So...yeah...

Naruto
Bee continues to be awesome as usual. Taking out the forest. His ink sealing techniques. Meanwhile Naruto, even with his transformation, still only knows rasengan and kage bunshin. Oh well, the chapter ended on an awesome high not. Kakashi and Gai!

Hunter x Hunter
Exciting as usual, although it was a bit of a preparation chapter so the next one is when things will go down

I just checked the chapter and I think it's a legitimate Sasuke win. Naruto went for the forehead protector while Sasuke hit him with a body shot. Cue friendship crap, Sasuke stands.

We still don't know shit about Ichigo's family so not yet. Unfortunately.

But it's Bleach, where barely anything is resolved and nothing makes sense. Surely Kubo doesn't have to tell us about Ichigo's family?

Ichigo was acknowledged, he changed the way the shinigami world works, the woman loves him... if this were Naruto the credits would've rolled already.
Also, I can't believe people actually want Bleach not to end already. I would stop reading it but I would turn insane seeing it every week near HxH, Naruto and One Piece and not read it. I don't know how to not finish reading a weekly manga. But Bleach is definitely trying to teach me how. It's garbage, nearly always has been garbage. The start was OK, it was passable for 3 chapters a few months ago and that's it. It needs to end already so more people would read HxH.

You´re a joke, you just don´t realize it.
Interesting, I wasn't aware. So that would imply that I am funny. Which is the humorous part? I would say it would have to be the Bleach jokes but I can't be sure.
It was a joke, Mr. Sensitive. No reason to get your Ichigo panties in a bunch.

Do none of the above statements not sound insane to you? Like really?
Mangaf Wednesdays are like a highlight of the otherwise dreary day of work.
It's keeping me awake today since I'm damn tired.

HxH

The "misses" Hisoka's gonna hunt are... the dummy blimps? I don't think Illumi figured out the hunters are chasing him yet so I don't think that's what he meant.

Killua is being such a boss. He's reading Illumi like a book.

Damn, my question was answered in this chapter, but still. I was wondering about why the hunter association does not exterminate the Zoldyks (SP). Well, even though rule 4 forbid the association from acting. The Zoldyks are assassins so they are criminals, and they should be punished. The association had/has more than enough power to kill them.

Well damn. My sarcasm detector and humor sense are is really broken today. My sincerest apologies.

Netero was working with them

They probably helped the association infinite times.

By the way the reason they're freaking out over the rule is because "better" rules would mean this situation would've never happened (as Illumi either wouldn't have passed the exam, or wouldn't have wanted to pass the exam). Situation being Illumi using civilians.

could they? the zoldyks, while few in number, the father and grandfather at least seem to be extremely strong. I'd think only a handful of hunters could even stand up to them. plus i don't even know why the hunters would go after them in the first place, they're not a police force.

One Piece
solid chapter and LOL Sanji. Jimbe will probably join when it's crunch time but then again they haven't left FI so who knows. Loved the reveal about Shirohoshi being Poseidon though, great story telling by Oda

I hope I'm wrong, but I can see Kakashi getting a solid hit on Tobi that will crack his mask and expose an aged Obito face, shocking Kakashi enough for Tobi to get in a death blow on him.

It's not like Tobi couldn't just kill him anyway as overpowered as he is, but I could see it happening with the added drama factor.

The only time I'm not joking is when we are discussing harem manga. That shit is serious business. We need to start up another round table.

That last post had a dual meaning joke in the spoiler part. I wonder if anyone figured it out? I challenge mangaf since big 3 talk is currently viral.

I don't even fucking understand how having a parent attacked by a hollow means the child has a bit of hollow in them as well. It seemed fairly established that Urahara's fucked up route to getting his shinigami powers back is what created the Hollow in Ichigo.

The stupid shinigami scheme of using Ichigo as 'bait' to pull Ginjou out of hiding is classic asspull material as well. Ginjou's been out in the open of the arc from the god damn start, but it took until one of his cronies had dangerously brainwashed all of his friends and he was about to die they all suddenly pop up and enact Operation: Kill That Random Fuck We Forgot About.

Worse still is the assertion that Ichigo has changed everything in Soul Society. By what? Yes he certainly philosophically challenged this group that ascertains control over the very fabric of life and death by turning up, beating some peoples asses and killing a giant fire bird? We were blind but now see, roasting chicks alive for small indiscretions wasn't the way forward.

Rrrgh, I shouldn't think about Bleach so much but when I do:

Nitero and the 12 Zodiacs is enough to finish the Zoldyks off. I am not sure anymore since Nitero is dead. But the HA is a police force. They catch criminals, and put them in jail.

Ichigo 100?

I could never get into harem manga. Only TWGOK.

One Piece 649

Verily, Oda is truly a storytelling mastermind like I previously indicated. Only have there been a few times in my manga reading experiences that Ive ever been flustered and agitated at one chapter and then left completely in shock and overjoyed at the next one, and the case of Jinbei is one of those. This means that there is hope afterall for Team Sabo, even if Im the only one on that team. Expanding on Nico Robin's subplot was excellent. This has been a good arc. Its good to see him finally learning how to tell a story from Mashima, however, it still seems awkward to have had a celebratory feast the week after it was just done in Fairy Tail, oh well, Im always game for feasts and partys in manga.

get the fuck out of here...

Kirisuke and Johnny, The Slaying of 499

Very lulzworthy manga. 90 pages of pure samurai action cutting limbs left and right. Seriously so many heads and limbs were cut, it became extremely comical after the first 40 pages. I don't even think there is a story. The two dudes are supposed to rescue this girl from an army of samurais, yet at the end one of the dudes ends up killing her by accident.

If you want to read a quick one shot with shitty art and constant heads rolling then give it a try.

Harems are 100% serious business. 100% indeed.

So speaking of harems and shoujo (from before the Big 3 stuff), Watashi ni xx Shinasai 30 - I often forget how long it takes this genre to get to the point. 36 pages to reveal "First love! THAT'S WHAT HE WAS!" :(

Can we get back to when the childhood friend (of the guy) was getting really close to supreme yandere status?

Edit: New Prince of Tennis 65 - I'm still waiting for Echizen (and Sanada) to play. I feel like there's always something in the works to prevent it from happening.

So many philosophical questions to be answered.

Not a reverse harem but a triangle. Regardless, MC's shtick of totally dense and traumatized by her first love (as a little kid no less) is just stupid. It was good at first with the subplot of the missions and you could forgive the denseness. But now all of that stuff is grating and it's tough to find interest.

Needs more yandere I agree along with a killing or two.

EDIT:
Other blonde girl is adorable. Secondary female > main female rule at play.
STOP REPLYING TO HIM
DTL bait is like a drug. Just a taste is all it takes.

I see Jinbei as a Vivi right now. He basically already joined them, they already accepted it, but he has something he needs to accomplish on his own first before he feels like accepting the invite onto the ship. The way the crew reacted to that fact seemed to make it look like they would be willing to wait, but they wouldn't actively try to help him with the task. Thus if he does join the crew in the sense that he travels with him, I don't think its going to happen till after the end of another arc. He is an honorary member for the time being, someone you know that is a crew member, but just isn't with them. Much like how he was looked at like a member of the white beard pirates with his loyalty to them.

As for Shirahoshi, I really want to know where this going. We have been told she was going to have a legendary ability and I thought that just meant she was going to special person in the grand story and help the fishmen/merpeople reach their dreams (take them to the surface) and help solve tensions between humans, but if she is actually one of THE Ancient weapons, the ancient weapons that the marines went to great lengths to both hide, capture, or destroy to the point of murdering innocent people, I feel like her becoming an envoy for fishman island just got wiped off the map. They better hope rumors around Shirahoshi don't make it up to the surface, or you can bet the Marines are going to go after her ASAP.

Semantics! Actually, I was just using that as an excuse to get off the Big 3 subject~

Yeah, definitely; it was cute at first and it worked well with the pacing of the missions, though I had a feeling the rate they were going would've ended up with "Mission 20: Marriage" or something.

Not sure what I expect out of it, really. I just remember liking the one shot special (Plain Love) for the art or something. The premise for Watashi ni xx Shinasai wasn't terrible, I liked the female lead (visually), and the art is nice ... so I guess I'll just keep at it for the sake of keeping at it.

Yandere murders are always great.

Bleach haters out in full force on this fine Wednesday. Can't wait to read the chapter to see how bad it was.

It was not bad at all. the chapter addressed few things.

1- When Ichigo heard Rukia through the badge say that Ichigo would never. The answer was addressed in thid´s chapter.

2- Ichigo by his actions changed SS´s rigid rules. Ichigo mentioned that he wanted to destroy the rules when he fought Byakuya 300 chapters ago.

3- Ginju has hollow abilities.

4- SS wanted to kill both Ginjou and Ichigo in case Ichigo sided with Ginjou, which iunderlined the policy and policy change in SS.

So as far as i am concerned this chapter addressed many important issues. And BTW IchiRukia is legit now :P

One Piece

I guess we will get a Jinbei flashback in another arc explaining what business he has left. It will probably give us his dream too. I also think later down the series they're going to return to FI to fulfill the prophecy of Noah and Luffy destroying the island. I suppose Noah is an Ark to carry all the people to a new land after FI is destroyed.

Yeah it was pretty fun. Once you hit this page you realize that it is just getting ridiculous.

But then it just keeps going on like that for another 50 pages. I wonder if there the death count is actually 499.

Bleach

I can't keep track of this anymore.
Ginjo has:
-A fullbring
-his own shinigami powers
-ichigo's shinigami powers
-hollow powers
-some grudge against soul society(?)

is this correct?

Those 2 are the same, since fullbring came from a hollow attack and therefor the fullbring power is a hollow power. The rest is correct.

Jinbe THINKS he has other things he needs to do that the Straw Hats would be willing to wait for, because he feels a sense of duty and obligation over what happened to Fishman Island because of his past with Fisher Tiger, Arlong, and the rest of the Sun Pirates.

Then Neptune/Shirahoshi will tell him he's being a dumbass and the best thing he can do for his people is sail with Luffy and friends. Or something to that effect.

At least that seems to be the most likely angle. It wraps everything for this arc up quite nicely. The difference between Jinbe and Vivi is that the troubles for Vivi's people were at home. The troubles for Jinbe's people are really abroad, with the issues at home just being the symptom.

Naruto D

Really meh chapter, hopefully Gai and Kakashi save it next week

Bleach C

This was actually a pretty good chapter, but still a showcase of how lame Kugo is as a villain by this point. This chapter shows why Ichigo is a pretty cool guy, but I'm not convinced of Kugo's reason for being a bad guy yet. Kugo is the new Hody Jones

One Piece B

Great chapter overall and the reveal is still rather shocking. It's nice to have it explained and that it isn't reliant on being prophetic.

I guess my problem with your grades is that you hate the premise of Naruto itself so you're grading it on a curve and giving it a "D" when it's "meh." The problem is, when a Moon's Eye Plan chapter comes out, there's nothing reasonable for you to give it because you gave it "F" in some chapter because people were just standing around talking (which you did 2 weeks ago).

I guess what I'm saying is, the world isn't such a bad place, kid. Lighten up.

My reason for going that direction has less to do with Jinbei, and more to do with the crews reaction to his reasoning. In the past when Luffy heard those issues, he kept rejecting his rejection and went out of his way to solve the problem even against the persons wishes. That didn't happen this time, they accepted his motivation for a delayed invite which means to Luffy and the crew, he already is a member of the group, and that when time comes he will join them and they won't need to goad him into it. We also don't have a clue what is holding him back, the duty might be a promise he kept to fisher tiger, a promise that cannot be upended by the others on fishman island but only when 'he' feels its been accomplished. The fact is wait and see, but for the moment that is how I am seeing it. A man that has already agreed to join, but we will not see the fruit of that acceptance until a bit later on.

REAL vol1

Why the fuck wasn't I reading this before? It's such a bro manga. Fuck. Nomiya is a big bro, Togawa is awesome

RS9p1.jpg

That's some awesome shit. Anyway, I knew someone was gonna get crippled this manga, just wasn't able to guess the right person. I hope Takahashi redemption saga will be cool.
