Because the Giants loss to the Packers, Saints and Niners?

If they weren't a NY team, they'd be buried by the media by now.
Yet they are still only one game behind 1st in the division with a chance to be 1st after Sunday. The NFC East really sucks this year.

Joke post? They get buried, especially Eli and Coughlin, all the time.

For example: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...ve-for-a-muchneeded-qb?module=HP11_hot_topics

This current crop has lost four consecutive games and has just as good of a chance of finishing 6-10 than it does at 10-6. If the Giants do finish in the bottom six, do they finally address their long-standing need for a quarterback?
And that schmuck Jim Trotter, a writer from San Diego, constantly is riding Manning and recently claimed Alex Smith and Tim Tebow are better QB's.

Suck on it Giants fans

Consider Chapter 15 of his book, Play Like You Mean It. “I have news for you,” Ryan writes of the Giants. “We are the better team. We’re the big brother. People might say they are the big, bad Giants, but we are not the same old Jets. . . .

“To me, it seems clear that right now we are the better team and we are going to remain the better team for the next 10 years. Whether you like it or not, those are the facts, and that’s what going to happen. I know it’s going to happen because our style of football is different. We are going to take over the town whether the Giants like it or not, so those fans on the fence that like both teams are going to be Jets fans in the end. The truth is, if I am going to watch one game, I am going to see the Jets, without a doubt. We are better.”

At first I just read this as a jab, but in reality, it's pretty true. While our defense isn't as good ad 2000, it's definitely Superbowl caliber. Our running game is better this year, and our other offensive pieces are better too. It's also that Flacco can potentially be a better offensive QB. That said, he can also be terrible, turn the ball over and lose us games.

We're still going to win all due to his ELITE facial hair.
I can't wait for the AFC Championship when we play you guys for the 3rd time. I hope it is in Baltimore so Flacco and co. can get that media blitz about how great they are for the entire week and then face the cold hard reality of trying to beat the Steelers 3 times in a season.

That is going to be better than when we win the Superbowl.

How are you a steeler and lakers fan? You like the Yankees too?

Packers Age back at full force.

Ugh.

Packers will wrap up homefield next week when they beat KC and the Steelers destroy the Niners. The only question is whether or not they follow the Patriots or Colts model for the last two games.

Buckethead's triumphant return. Welcome back.

I am waiting in an airport and will be on aflight with a browns fan. I have to admit I am now concerned for the well being of all on board.

hey TSA I'm only joking! Don't make me strip again!

Can't be better than when the 2-14 Raiders beat them. That was such an awesome game. Or when Bruce Grad went all GRABOWSKI on them to seal their playoff fate. That was great.

That hurts FMT. Almost as much as Rors filthy truths.

I am not really worried about the Niners. I honestly don't think we need to be at full strength to beat you guys. Gimpy Ben and our gimpy o-lne will be just enough to get the ball to Brown and Wallace who are going to run wild in Candlestick. This might be the week we break out the combo of Cotchery, Brown, Wallace and Miller. No one is going to cover that group.

your team is such a creampuff that patrick willis isn't even bothering to play, even though he could. he would rather come back against the seachickens or rams..... think about that. he feels comfortable with our team handling the steelers without him but not the seachickens or rams lololllllllllll

Win a Super Bowl, Rex. Saying it 100 times doesn't make it happen.

Meanwhile the Giants have won one in each of the last three decades, remain a flagship franchise in the NFL with one of the most influential owners and have 7 championships total to their name.

The only "sucking" going on is Rex going at his wifes fat toes.

Funniest part is I don't even mind the Jets one way or the other but Rex Ryan can choke on his goddamn snack for all I care.

Packers were undefeated during buckethead's ban, coincidence?

They played their worst football when I was banned. Correlation or causation?

I'll try not to hate you too much haha have fun.

Wait, Willis isn't playing? *changes confidence points*

willis probably won't play again in the regular season (just my opinion). he has a grade 2 hamstring injury (it's rated on grade 1-4). its an injury that typically has a 3-6 week recovery period. we don't need pwill to beat the cards/steelers/seahawks/rams so lets just rest him for the divisional is what i say

Ehh, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. Ray McDonald had a grade II hammy strain and it only kept him out a week. On top of that he's a 320+ pounder, I think Willis will be back for MNF against the Stealers.

I hope those are fake.

I think I'd rather have that steaming pile of shit tattoo from the story that was going around the net a week or so ago.

but the thing about mcdonald is he's close to the line of scrimmage and i just feel like willis is all out sprinting on plays and has a different physical style than a lineman.

i don't know, i guess we'll see
