Blackout 1 is probably Meth's best album IMO. Tical is second.
Anyways I still don't understand people who don't like ASAP's tape. It's definitely alpha male music and there are so many beta butt boys into hip hop and lyricism they forget that the genre was founded on boasting, real shit, beating the shit out of people, and fucking girls.
This shit reminds me I'm Jesus Christ himself and I can fuck anything I want and deadlift a truck and fly through the air to kick the asses of many beta boys.

Gucci sounds great here too. Best he's been in at least a couple years and I've been okay with his recent output. As much as it pains me to say it too, V-Nasty is a great compliment to Gucci on here she's fucking disgusting but she's about on Gucci's level of "don't give a fuck" to carry it. Her verse on "White Girl" sounds too natural, it's scary.
This is prob my 2nd fav Gucci album/tape after the appeal- that was flawless tho
Gucci is very hit or miss for me. Loved Lemonade, Gucci Time and his features on I Just Wanna Party and Shine Blockas. But a lot of his other stuff really grinds my gears.
Baytl he's pretty good though. Maybe that's just because V-Nasty makes him look amazing. I thought he got shown up on Ferrari Boyz.

Yeah the beats do go hard. But they arent that memorable, IMO. I rather listen to ASASP Rocky, his tape goes hard too, and he is more listenable as an artist.
Yeah, i really cannot recommend it though, there are better albums with better beats that go just as hard. And with those you wouldnt have to listen to Gucci/HIV-Nasty.

I think he's far away the producer of the year based off of consistency and raw amount of hot beats this year alone. All you listed + Finally Famous make me confident of that. And yeah more random shit like Never Told.

I love Covert Coup and everything was going fine during my first listen through but after listening to Gibbs murder his feature, it made me wanting a little more. Covert Coup is still in my top 10 and Curren$y holds his own. But yeah, Alchemist did his thing and is the reason why Covert Coup is so good.
Best feature is probably tied between Gibbs' Scottie Pippen and K.R.I.T.'s Murder.

I'm always greedy as fuck and constantly making suggestions but I think an old school party mix would be dope. Just a mix of all the very best party shit throughout the years.
Nothing will make me bump BATYL. Of all the ignorant elementary ass rappers, Gucci is the most tolerable, occasionally dropping a verse or even song I like, but putting up with V nasty on all those songs just isn't happening.
Yall got me listening to Blackout! again for the first time in about a decade. Forgot how fucking good this album is. Red and Meth were my two favorite rappers around this time.

Just Blaze did some nice beats and No I.D.'s stuff is also great but Alc definitely takes the cake this year. He's gonna have a hard time next year when Madgibbs and Madvillainy 23 drop though, for me at least.
I have very little hope for new Madvillainy because MF DOOM is involved, as much as it hurts me to say it.
