I appreciate your enthusiasm Heavy. I too was just as frustrated you as you. But I have come to accept that most of the posters in this thread will never be happy with WWE. Most of the time it seems that they argue just to argue. I pointed out that WWE has had worse years (2008) and of course many argued that it was not true.
Point being, just accept that most people won't agree with us. Don't bother starting arguments over it. If you do this, you will enjoy this thread a lot more.
Who's trying to argue against that?
2011 has been one of the better years in recent history, I can't remember a year where so much of the talent had elevated.
- Miz moved from glorified jobber to the stars to being legit main event
- R Truth moved from joke character to main event
- Zack Ryder moved from "How does he still have a job" to being a main focus
- Ziggler is already the best Heel in the world and people will give him credit for it soon enough
- Sheamus is main event in waiting
- Barrett got over his freshman stumbles and if he doesn't suffer too badly from the Orton burial he should be tracking to be main event sometime of next year
- D Brine at least has a World Hvwt title to his name, though it kind of remains to be seen what that means
- Mark Henry has found a character after 15 years of having Worf syndrome
-CM Punk went from occasional main event villain of the month to the face of the company
There are still a lot of issues, the undercard is even sparser now than it was last year. Cena and the Rock still take up more screen time than they should. Orton is still boring and kills the heat of any feud with his superman shtick, though at least he let Henry get a couple of wins.
Del Rio is probably the big loser of the year, its kind of hard to point the exact moment he lost all of the momentum he started the year with, but I'd probably have to say Wrestlemania. After that his destiny speeches became kind of nonsensical and he looks like a cartoon minority villain and not a real threat anymore.
