Elias Sports Bureau: Pre-Giroux, last PHI player to lead NHL scoring race this late in a season was Eric Lindros on Jan. 30, 1999 (65 points).

Fuck. You can usually tell when the other team is going to score when the Habs are all over place.

Edit: that line was also on too long.

So every player who never won a cup is a clown? You're not making any sense. Lindros was a douche, but his good years were some of the most impressive individual performances for a power forward ever. Modern NHL will never produce another player like Lindros.

I'm leaning towards the douchebaggery here.

They've been playing pretty good D sucks both goals came off of bounces. Let's see how they respond under Cunneyworth.

Thank god Bourque got out of Boston and salvaged his legacy. Also let Bruins fans collectively become Avs fans for a couple seasons, that must've been fun for the Bruins fans.

Bourque will be forever known as one of the kindest and best players to ever play the game. It was fun watching him succeed.

Seems like they aren't playing Cammy and Pleks line as much, as they should.

Randy said recently he's going to the play the lines based on effort which is good to hear. Please score here please score here please score here.

You can't fucking miss the net there subban. Fuck. Rough period to end like that habs don't have many wins when going into the third under a goal.

Some good control on the PP, just need to hit the net.

There's a lot better and effort and structure tonight they just need a couple wins to get their confidence back, randy just came in during a really difficult time on the schedule.

If they can come back and win this in te 3rd it would e HUGE for their confidence. But the chances of that happening are like 8%

Just saw that clip with Peter Laviolette shoving Ott. Really wanna see this on 24/7.

Laviolette took the long way to the dressing room just now.

Me too, what's your point?

That was a landmark point in the timeline of Boston sports called "Loserville". The city was so desperate for a winner (last championship was 1986 Celtics) they had a "rally" at City Hall plaza for Ray Bourque. Not a surprise given how much Bourque was (is) loved by this city. A little bit pathetic but reflective of the times.
