I started dabbling with scratching in the mid-80s. I got my first proper equipment in the late 90s and have been DJing on and off ever since. I spin mostly hip-hop, but also bits and pieces from other genres - R&B, drum and bass, old rave stuff, dancehall. I don't play gigs any more, cos I don't like the direction hip-hop has taken, but I still enjoy making mixes just for fun.
