Suck it Bionic, Deacon, Chuck, Angsmar, HarSon, Shadow, Volcano, and the rest of Steelers GAF. And FMT for good measure.

Having said that, damn the AFC North is fucking good. Clearly the best division on football. Great accomplishment to win it.

Since we all know Pitt is beating Denver, go Houston, because I would LOVE to see Pittsburgh in the AFC Championship.

Remember when mouthy mcmidgebitch was spouting about how his team won the AFC West? Well, the Packers practice squad basically won the NFC North.

Maybe it was real swell in the '40s but the 20some years that I've been alive it's been a disgusting sandwich wrapped in poverty and topped in crimesauce.
 
Dion just murdering Sanchez. I got a laugh out of the one line though. Fran was trying to sell that the running game wasn't as good, the defense wasn't as good, so what other young QB can put a team on his shoulders?

Depends where you are from, I'm from the suburbs (30 mins away from Detroit). The city has had some bad years but it's on the uprise.

I like the ballpark and I like Chelie's. Ford Field is a shit hole. The city is a shit hole. Everything else except those two things are trash.

There are good and bad parts of any city if you look hard enough. Yea It has bad parts but it does have a lot of good things. There's really not any point to try and argue it beyond this point you've made up your mind and that's fine.

Seemed like a pretty nice place when I went down there on Thanksgiving. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

Idk man, it has alot of great concert venues and Tiger Stadium is really nifty. The Art museum is pretty sexy too. Its seen better days, before my time, but it seems like its on the rise. Only 2/3 of the homes have been foreclosed. Things have to get better!

Wouldn't that be something? Go read the preseason predictions. I'd wager 90% had the Bengals sucking for luck. lol

I hear Detroit's problems (the ones that are common to large American cities, like drug-related violent crime) finally peaked a few years ago. Most cities peaked in the mid-90s. I imagine what is happening in Washington is possible in Detroit on a smaller scale. Wealthy developers buying up cheap property in areas plagued with urban decay and turning it into a hi-rent area.

ATL @ NYG -- Before tonight I was thinking ATL could beat either of those teams, but the G-men looked pretty on the ball. 27-17 Giants.
PIT @ DEN -- This SHOULD be a bloodbath. But, eh, we'll see. Ben looked better tonight, against I think an underrated pass defense. If we can pass the ball fairly well, it should be cake. 17-7 Steelers.
CIN @ HOU -- I think Cincy WILL win this game, but I'm picking the Texans because I'd rather play the Pats before the Ravens. No comment on score predictions.
DET @ NO -- I think it'll be closer than most people think, especially the doom-and-gloom self-hating Lion fans. But the Lions D is just not good, and they're slightly worse than the Saints' D. High scoring game, though: 45-35 Saints.

Bengals got swept by both Ravens and Steelers but made the playoffs anyway cause the rest of the AFC blows dingleberries.

Oh, and let me make a list of Ravens Gaf: Larry..........and that guy with the Flacco pizza avatar.
 
the problem with the giants is that you never know who is going to show up. i suppose that is the case with ALL teams, because every playoff team has had embarrassing losses this year, but it just seems like with the giants its every other week
 
I got called crazy at the bar just now. Broncos are winning next week for the big upset. Steelers have the super bowl thing going on and that streak will last. Same way as the Seahawks beat the Katrina Saints.
 
In some ways I feel better about going to NO and getting destroyed than having to face the Giants. They have just the type of bruising run game that we can't stop, plus the weather will most likely be a factor. Give me a dome to die in, against a godly opponent. I can move on from that. I don't think I could get over us losing to fucking Eli Manning though

When the G-men look good though, they look about as good as any NFC team other than the Niners and Packers. We'll see.

very true. i said a few weeks back that i wouldn't be surprised if the giants missed the playoffs and i wouldn't be surprised if the team won the superbowl. they are just a baffling team
