Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
How? How can anybody ever rationalize this move?
I'm always nervous when you play a team you already beat in the regular season. There's always that tendency to downplay them and for the other team to come out extra motivated. And Detroit definitely has the talent to keep pace offensively if Brees has an off day.
With that said I think the Saints still beat Detroit handidly.
Our offense has only been getting better as the season progressed and our defense is only giving up 18.8 ppg in the last 10 games and we have started to produce more and more critical turnovers as of late. Even if it ends up a shoot out I'd take brees over stafford every time and double that if it's in the dome in the playoffs.
Love seeing the JETS implode. Going to be fun to see what changes they make.
I hope they keep Schottenheimer just for the laughs.
CIN @ HOU - Yates goes down on the first drive, enter Delhomme. 5 interceptions as the Bengals win in a romp.
DET @ NO - Lions win a 48 - 45 shootout with 50 year old Jason Hanson hitting the game winner as time expires.
ATL @ NYG - Yeah I just don't like the Giants. Fuck Eli.
PIT @ DEN - Yes the only ones who will protect their house will be the Tebows.
Depends on the health of Delmas. He practiced this week, so I assume he will plan and he's one of the few safeties that can match up with someone like Jimmy Graham. Also, Mark Ingram being gone doesn't hurt.

Does anyone actually think Denver has a shot at beating Pittsburgh next week? What is you're reason, other than "I don't know shit about football"
Pittsburgh is going to kill them, and I fucking hate Pittsbugh, but it's incredibly obvious. And please, respond with dumb Tebow comments, because that's original and will surely be witty.
lol Chargers.

Im pissed at my team, Hue Jackson said after the game via the Oakland Tribune. At some point in time, as a group of men, you go in the game, and you can say whatever you want about coaches, you win the game. Heres your time. Heres your time to make plays.
We didnt get em stopped. And we didnt make enough plays. So, yeah, Im pissed at the team. Im also, like I tell them, Ill always put it on me, but I am pissed at my team. Because when you have those kinds of opportunities, youve got to do it, and we didnt do it.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7413477/oakland-raiders-coach-hue-jackson-rips-team-lossIm going take a stronger hand in this whole team, this whole organization, Jackson said. There aint no way that Im going to feel like I feel today a year from now, I promise you that. Theres no question. Defensively, offensively and special teams. I aint feeling like this no more. This is a joke. . . . Yeah, Im going to take a hand in everything that goes on here.

at best they'd do what they did to New England, come out with a touchdown on a mix of passing/rushing, then go all rush and get blown out.

As always, nervous about the Steelers. This is the team that struggled to beat the Colts, Chiefs, Jags and Browns (twice!) this season. They also however demolished the Seahawks, Rams and Titans. Quality wins over the Pats and the Bengals (twice!).
In other words, they play to the level of their competition. Which might mean seeing Ben tuck the ball and run around Mile High a lot, being chased by Miller.
I still see a win, but I'll bet it will be an ugly-ass game, which is Steeler football.

Raheem Morris was informed he has been fired. Live Coverage on NFL Network now #insideslant
@AdamSchefter Bucs fired Raheem Morris and his staff.

Jags have asked Falcons for permission to interview offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey for their head coaching job

Raheem Morris has been fired
edit: Beaten. See his whole staff gone. Rams haven't clarified staff changes
Oh hey look who it is.
Please Jags, TAKE HIM!!!!
Yeah, fuck Panthers TE Greg Olsen!I'm more excited that Greg Olsen is gone. Fuck him, fuck him for quitting on the run after 2 plays, fuck him for his shitty "Wildcat" plays, fuck him for his shitty WR reverses with the slowest WRs in the NFL, fuck him for coming out in Shotgun on 1st and Goal, fuck him for rarely calling a QB sneak with a 6'6" QB, just FUCK HIM.
Yeah, fuck Panthers TE Greg Olsen!
Had to do it.
Unlike Rams G.M. Billy Devaney, who was fired along with coach Steve Spagnuolo, G.M. Mark Dominik is expected to stay. Dominik received a new contract after the season.
“We want to thank Coach Morris for all his hard work and dedication as head coach of the Buccaneers,” Buccaneers co-chairman Joel Glazer said in a team-issued release.
“I have a lot of respect and appreciation for the passion Coach Morris gave to our football team, but this change is one we felt was necessary,” Dominik said.
Anyone seen DCX round these parts lately? He's gonna have to sport a Cam Newton avatar for, oh, ~8 months after the Giants take care of the Falcons in the playoffs![]()
Wait, how long is THIS avatar? I never agreed to any time frame!
13. Josh Freeman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Analysis: He posted enough numbers to graduate into the elite level.
Arrow is pointing: up
Why would ANYONE willingly use a Scam avatar? It was only a week-long bet, so you can rid yourself of it now if you want (but why would you?!)
Any news on Urlacher?
