that sounds like this universe.

I find it funny, that in a place largely populated by nerds, people are actually siding with jocks. =D

"olympic athlete" would be an honorable title that most anyone would be proud to hold. That you took such exception that in the original pic is rather odd to me.

Physical prowess ≥ mental prowess is a concept I don't conform.

We all probably just got our scholarships stolen by some college football kids and are now slightly depressed.

Nah, just hate the fact some people get a special treatment, because they are good in something as trivial as sports.

your opinion is an odd one for sure. Are sports any more trivial than music, acting or other forms of entertainment?

Don't get me wrong, I'm actually with you on this one, though in our modern society it gets hard to judge what's really trivial and what isn't. I mean if you'd break it down you'd probably have about two or three occupations left that aren't reliant on our artificial environment.

Yes, they are. Music and acting encourage creativity, and writing encourages understanding, and all of them hold at least a possibility for higher learning, unlike sports.

Back on track.

eh, if we're talking about something like a clean and jerk then I could see that point of view, but there's incredible depth and creativity to a lot of sports. Criticizing something to that level that you clearly just don't care to understand just makes you sound rather bitter/silly.

We get it. JUST STFU.

Just because people post on a gaming forum doesn't mean they can't or don't like Sports. It also doesn't mean Sports/Athletes are less than legitimate forms profession or judge of a person's capabilities.

OKay, I'm driving myself crazy trying to find a funny image that I swear was jost posted here a few days ago...a computer-text game with Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony sales on it...guy posting on forum...getting owned....Help, my friends?

I was reading about the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and came across this:

It's awarded by the President, and he are responsible for placing it on the honorees person. Clearly, no one took tribal headdresses into account. I love the facial expressions.
