It didn't take long for someone to take the loudmouth, talk a bunch of shit crown away from the Jets. If I was Suggs I would focus on getting to the AFC Championship instead of bashing on Tebow. I guess Ball So Hard University doesn't teach class.
Oh great, here come the Broncos fans out of the woodwork now that they make the playoffs. Where have you been all season.

And everything Suggs said is 100% true, and I'm glad he said it. Tebow is a terrible QB, and a media made phenomenon. Suggs isn't just a great player, he's a great personality with minimal criminal history (I think he hit a security guard with a tire iron). Bash away at Tebow! The only kind of Tebow praising in the NFL should be based on play, not faith.

I only wish we'd get a chance to have Suggs Ball So Hard over Tebows dumb face, but alas, Pittsburgh will not only beat you, but might kill Tebow.

Plus, when it comes to spiritual players in the NFL, I'll take Troy Polamalu over him any day, and it hurts to say that.

Thanks!

Baby girl on the way.

I want to print this out and have it waiting for her in her crib!

NFL milking that cow hard.

WIFE IS IN LABOR! At the hospital on the iPad bored out of my mind as we play the waiting game.

If you want, I have some Ravens and Orioles onesies from my daughters, they're even pink! I think one has "Lewis" and 52 on the back. I sure won't need them again.

Congrats, daughters rule. No pressure for them to like sports, like boys, and if they do....bonus!

I've been here every week, way back when Orton was starting, even going back into last season. So you can gtfo out of here with that fair weather bullshit.

The problem with the Ravens is that they are just like the Jets. They want all the glory and attention, and can't get it done on the field. They run they fucking mouths and end up getting handled when they are required to step up. You can point the finger at Tebow all you want and say that he sucks, but for god knows how long the Steelers have patted your team on the fucking head like a little brother as they go to Superbowl after Superbowl.

So yeah Tebow sucks at this point, most Denver fans are realizing this. We feel lucky to make it to the playoffs. You don't hear our players whining in the media about it. It makes Flacco and Suggs look like bitches, deal with it.

Edit: God Bless!

That yahoo sports article is dumb. I watched Suggs on First and Ten today, Bayless was trying to bait him the whole time. Suggs just fired back at him about his boy Tebow in jest. Segment should have been taken for the light earted nature it was.

Because Mike Mularkey is a fool, Donahoe as well but to a lesser degree, and Drew Bledsoe is one of the most selfish players to ever play the quarterback position.

The offense was boring and predictable, Moulds was past his prime and Evans was a rookie, no TE either with a shitty OL. Up to the backs to get it done, we pounded shitty teams with a great D.

Doesn't matter though, Drew was QB and he did whatever the fuck he wanted to do. Dude would call different plays, would force everything to Moulds because he bailed him out. Didn't care about helping Losman either, not that it would've mattered. Drew was such a dick that they dumped his ass for a guy with almost no reps due to a leg injury, nuff said.

Clements was a scapegoat for shitty coaching and bad personnel management. Someone had to go.

Edit: they all went in the end.

Looking at Favre (post 2006, sans Jets), Rodgers, Flynn and Harrell (dropping the act, he is actually showing tons of improvement and his throwing mechanics are completely revamped) I wonder how well Losman would have been if Clements had stayed with him.

I'm seriously afraid of what will happen to the Hall of Fame QB machine in Green Bay if Clements leaves. You don't want him Chicago. He is too good for you.

Flacco is a bitch, I don't defend him, but Suggs merely pointed out that Tebow sucks, which is a fact. If anything, it made him look smarter than every other NFL analyst, and he definitely shit all over Bayless.

Be worried, Eznark. Clements is a name that is popping up for possible Bears OC. Imagine Cutler having a real QB coach helping him out. McKenzie as well for GM. Gonna poach from the Packers!

I think GB can cock block the moves, though. I don't know if they want a reputation for doing so if this is the route the Bears want to go!

There is also the lame duck factor too. Don't know if any coaches will want to come to the Bears if Lovie is on a short leash. Team just went through with this two years ago.

Who cares? The Bears aren't in the playoffs so it doesn't matter. Even if it was 14 weeks the Bears won't be playing till next August, anyway.

Jesus you're a clown. The Lions make the playoffs as often as Haley's Comet appears and suddenly your some sort of mouthy super star? Jesus Christ dude, win a playoff game then start taunting other teams for missing the playoffs.

Pathetic.

I am. More worried than about anything else the Bears have done. Way more worried than about that joker fraud Theo taking over the Flubs. McKenzie not so much. Chicago would never let their GM get away with the shit that Ted does so none of the brilliance he has learned from sucking at the teat of the Heartless Master will apply.

I doubt the Packers would cock block Clements, but if Penn St. offers him the job he is going to take that over anything else.

He's been in the thread all season long. All Season. ALL SEASON.

I just find this whole thing hilarious. Being called a lifelong when you've been here since the beginning of the season.

i don't know i think the bears are going to have a hard time finding a legitimate offensive coordinator again. nobody wants to join the staff of a lame duck head coach. same shit we had to settle for mike martz after the debacle with ron turner.

Yeah the Penn State angle is definitely there, but does he want to be a college coach or nfl head coach? Hasn't he always been in the NFL? Taking a NFL OC job would be the next step towards being a NFL head coach.

Racist.

He was the first (and as far as I know pretty much the only) person to come out and loudly declare that he wants that PSU job. If offered he will absolutely take it. Penn St. has also said they are going to postpone their search through January, which could be a bit of a gentleman's agreement with Clements. Let him collect his playoff checks, then take over at PSU.

I imagine he'd rather be a head coach in college than an OC in the pros. He has had college QB/OC jobs in his past.

Reggie McKenzie looks like he Blake Griffin at age 50.

Tebow has varied from mediocre to terrible, much in the same way that plenty of other QB's have this year. Fact of the matter is that he is a second year QB, thrust into playing long before he should have been. The guy is/was right in the middle of completely changing his mechanics, had limited reps with the starters, and is still a project. So saying he sucks although true at this point, doesn't really highlight the situation and doesn't give him credit for putting up with the media garbage and going out and giving it his best shot without complaining about anything or making excuses.

He's been in the thread all season long. All Season. ALL SEASON.

Thanks Harry! He's been here all season as well so you can scratch him off the woodwork list. Add in H1NCH, red_13th, RyanDG, GraveRobberX, ChiTownBuffalo, Chiggs, and PatCu from time to time. I'm sure there's more that have popped in over the season.

Why would anyone rather be an NFL head coach instead of a college coach? You make basically the same money in college but you have significantly more job security. NFL demands results yesterday but in college, some of these guys can cling on for years and years with .500 records.

edit: in before "Kubiak" and "Fisher"

Aging LB not worth much maybe a 4th at most to a desperate team, most likely a 5th or 6th. Not really worth it unless you just want to get rid of his contract. You would need to something similiar to The Atlanta Clevland trade, not as much since you won't move up as many spots but iit will be 2 1st as a minimum.

4th for a pro bowl LB? He is what 31? He still has another 3-4 years of great performance.

Word is that the entire defensive coach staff for the Raiders was fired except for d-line coach Mike Wauffle. Which includes Rod Woodson, I think he did a pretty fair job for being a first time coach. Wasn't really his DBs that got burned but the shit scheme that left a MLB covering a pro bowl WR in VJax or All World WR in Calvin Johnson.

Over 30 which means his career is most likely on the decline , wants a new contract for a lot of money, not good signs for any team. Besides who was the last LB to get traded for a 1st rounder?

In college you have the same workload as the pros, plus you have to deal with all the BS of recruiting. Pros all the way.

Easier to cheat, more power, don't put up with divas, looked upon like a God.

the above also applies to that Michigan touchdown.

TFizzle is just trying to pump up Tebow and the Broncos in desperate hopes they get a win because his sorry ass doesn't want to face the Steelers a third time. Ravens, running scared and they don't even play this week!!

I can't remember who's a part of Bills-GAF. What are the remote chances that the Bills let Bell go to FA? I hear they have so many players to resign that it's possible.

You're talking about college coaches right? :P

Outside of wanting to build some sort of personal "legacy" and preferring to work with professionals, college coaching sounds much cushier than the pros. Bobby Petrino is revered like a god around these parts but couldn't hack it at all in the pros.

We need a list like in the NBA thread. Too bad Buckethead got tossed in the bit bucket, I'm sure he could have whipped up a list.

I think LJ11 is a Bill's fan?

There actually was a list put together at the start of the season that had the names of most NFL-GAF folks and which teams they supported, but I guess that got lost in the wash once the weekly threads started up.

It was scrapped. Trying to keep track of who squicken and MrBob were rooting for on a weekly basis just became too difficult.

Then there's the multiteamers. We would need a series of venn diagrams to properly represent jakncoke and tabris.
