So whom of you are platelickers, i suspect all of Packers-age for sure

You have us mistaken with the Lions fans.

SWTOR is indeed quite good. I wish I had more time to play but Im loving it. Funny because I am neither a huge Star Wars fans nor have I ever played an MMO before. Im playing an Imperial Soldier. From what I hear it's the most engaging story as well. I can't imagine playing an MMORPG without a decent story like this. It's nothing groundbreaking, but without it it'd seem pretty monotonous. The scope is damn impressive though

Not only is it not groundbreaking, it's absurdly rote. I played some WoW, a lot of Warhammer and some DCUO. Warhammer and DCUO especially had a ton of really awesome, revolutionary stuff that just simply didn't make it into this game. Considering Warhammer is now a BioWare joint, that's absurd.

That said, the game is fucking rad.

Really wish the HQ videos on NFL.com didn't require that netsession interface shit. Had it on my computer, but about 8 months ago it seemed to have spread like a disease and had folders everywhere. Was making my PC slow as shit.

http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/road-to-the-superbowl?module=HP11_hot_topics
is a pretty cool page of all the big moments for the playoff teams.
Damn, look at that sexy CSS.

NFL is years ahead of the other major sports leagues when it comes to web presence. They just need a better video player.

this is good news for the raiders. they need a true outside GM

May have a tough go of it first couple of years since they squandered so many picks in upcoming draft, but they're pretty stacked with talent. Deep at running back, Moore had a great year and Ford could be a menace in the slot, good OL. They can do some damage.

Worth it all for Purple Drank Skittles.

I don't think so. His is more of an administrative than a personnel role as far as I can tell. He's been with the team since 1994. Glad he took the job. As others have said, he's interviewed often but never bit.

As long as our ability to evaluate talent hasn't been significantly compromised, I'm happy for the guy.

May poach some scouts though.

You think anything gets past this man?

I bet Ted's been feeding him bad scout info this entire season.

STL reporters saying Fisher is going to TB to interview next, but wants to wrap it all up by next week. I hope the Rams aren't putting all their eggs in this basket. Need to have a plan B so they can hire good assistants with whoever they go with

Stoked about Reggie, actually he'll have a lot of work to do with the roster and coaching this upcoming season. I'm sure he's getting rid of Bresnahan and going to be cleaning up the roster/redoing contracts.

The Raiders have tons of young talent on the roster for the most part, they just need to put it together. First thing if I were Reggie is to redo DHB's contract, I think he's scheduled to make 8 million or something. If he can cut that down to 3-4 million that'll open up for a midtier FA, hopefully a safety (Huff is being moved to CB apparently) or a run stuffing DL.

MMO talk is like putting coke in the vents and expecting no one to get hooked.

This will end badly =(

must...launch MAME and play arcade NBA JAM

Never trust people in the first month of an mmo release. It's like fan boys on a console launch.

Also if you played WoW or any of the terrible WoW clones you've played ToR. The only new thing it brings to the table is terrible, unskipable voice acting.

Plus it will be F2P in like 6 months.

Indeed.

I've been level 50 for over a week now, and it truly is a carbon-copy of WoW. Minus the lack of features and terrible bugs of course.

Also people love the story, which is fine because some of the stories are decent.

Wait until you get to end-game, however. Being forced to sit through the same dialogue over-and-over again just to complete one Hardmode or Operation.

It's fucking annoying to say the least.

I wonder what someone new to NFL-GAF thinks when they read this
Banned for the slave thing, hmm. Yeah. That's a little unexpected.

Ask Madtown. Act quick though, the playoffs are only a month.

Lol, thanks for the laugh. Just skimmed through and was today 'talk about your bans day'? Page 48, nearly everyone talked about the bans they've received/and or bitched at the mods. It reminds me of high school friends meeting up after a year of college and comparing drinking stories, but still bitching about the taste of cheap beer. C'mon, man!

Anyways. I'm hoping we'll get an overtime game this postseason, and have the new rules actually come into play. Preferably before the SB.

We still have TT.

Losing McKenzie probably wont be too bad but other organizations may take quite a few members of GBs staff. For now just looking like Philbin and Clements could go too but there's a long ways to go.

One reason he may have finally bit is that his old pal Ron Wolf was in charge of finding the new leadership in Oakland. Wolf called McKenzie a "tremendous evaluator" so I guess we'll see if that's true and if he had an effect on TT in the coming years.

Pretty sure he's more than administrative. Sucks, but more people will probably leave this year since nobody left last year due to the lockout. Philbin is as good as gone I think.

I aggressively hate BioWare, after last night's bullshit loss to levious in the Madden league hate EA even more and have no real love for Star Wars beyond liking the movies. I also had no intention of playing this game until I got it as a gift. But I guess I'm totally a fanoy. I just need to figure out of what.

Space Bar skips voice acting, by the way. And it will totally be free to play, but since I am playing for the stories, I'd imagine to get all acts of each class you'd be paying at least $60 in the FTP model.

Yeah, I don't think it's a very good MMO at this point (though I have no idea, I've never reached a level cap in my life. They seem to have focused on the story stuff first and will be making the MMO stuff more robust going forward. That might cause them to lose the lunatics who poop sock it to 50 in a couple days, but for normal people I think it'll help them stick around.

By the time I get to end game in February or so, I'm guessing there will be plenty to do.

I'd rather lose Philbin than Tom Clements.

LOL, NBC Sports Network has the pony tailed guy from fucking Fast Money breaking down the playoff games. He just suggested the Steelers sit Rapist for Batch. That might have merit, but he also just said the Steelers have the best backup QB in football.

Hey fuckwad, FO just said the floor for Flynn is the Pro Bowl! Listen to the stat nerds!

At least it's not the Bears.

Bill Ruskell future, look into your heart, you know it's true. Bears will search unsuccessfully for a GM for 2 months or so. Halas hall is going to get spurned by every decent candidate, and shortly before free agency and the combine they are going to try to spin it that Ruskell was the guy they wanted all along.

I'll buy you a 6-pack of Alpha King if that's the case.

You'll need it.
