You mean the "young 23 stud" that chucks balls off his back foot hoping for Megatron to bail him out?

I didnt realize Megatron caught 41 TD passes or Pass for 5000+ yard. You also do realize that Megatron has been here even before stafford. Funny how he had his best year with staffords first complete year.

I agree. But its no shame to lose to New Orleans in the playoffs, the best team in NFC.

No doubt. For an insignificant and irrelevant team like Detroit, just being in the playoffs will carry you through another decade at least.

Congratulations!

I guess that's preferable to losing to Kyle Orton.
You're doing it wrong. You want more wins, not fewer.

Hell naw!Greatest day of football ever!

After 9 years of complete mediocrity Dre finally got into the playoffs

I was glad to see that too. Such an incredibly talented, quiet and humble guy.

Congrats on a good season Lions, hope it leads to a different atmosphere for the team in general.

Who dat!? Such an awesome time for Louisiana football right now. The Saints are looking quite formidable as Super Bowl contenders, and obviously we've got the LSU game on Monday night! Gotta say, I'm definitely more enthralled by LSU right now though.

I guess Brees did get the passing yards record if you don't count overtime playoff games.

Thats why he was content to kneel.

And like every other season before this one, your hate of the Packers is the only thing left for you Detroit fans.

The team is young, Lions fans have a lot to look forward to.

The last great #1 pick at a defensive position was Mario Williams. Suh is terrible and got a lot of hype for that football-friendly name. Imagine if Williams didn't juice up and tear a pec and was on this Texans team right now.

I have club level tickets to the game tomorrow. I can't wait to watch the Steelers lose to Tebow and his disciples. I'm guessing a lot of Steelers' fans have that sinking feeling but don't want to admit it.

IT SHALL BE EPIC.

Before or after Tebow destroys the Steelers?

Shit Broncos made it to the playoffs? I was told in this very thread that they already lost to the Steelers, and we are not a playoff team. Tebow has no chance, IN WITH QUINN FOR THE WIN, and dude's career hangs in the balance.

Why people would ever cheer for the Lions to begin with is beyond me when you have the 49ers in the NFL!

In reality, I feel empty inside, like Drew Brees just took my heart out and padded his stats with it

Poor guy. Brees has ripped out many hearts to pad his stats.

.

Well, actually all the teams are going to be insignificant and irrelevant except the Sainst, obviously the best team in the NFC.

You haven't heard Detroit radio, then. Ndamukong Suh's name is anything but friendly for the people who try to pronounce it. Shit, people here can't even get "Fairley" right.

He's waiting til he plays the Pats in the Superbowl.

He'll get the record in the biggest game, beat out Warner's SB records, do it against a worse defense, in a dome!

I want a Drew Brees stat padding montage set to dubstep.

WAH WAH WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHWAWAWAWWAWA WAAAAAAAAAAAA 5000 Yards!

Jim Schwartz in Full Bitch Mode at the press conference.

Someone needs to ask Schwartz what was more impressive to watch, the Saints at home or the Packers scout team.

Ouch, you're really punching above your class here son.

I mean in the sense that he has a cool sounding sports name and that helped his hype. It always happens in sports.

Its not often you get to see the 2nd best QB in the NFL in Matt Flynn (thank god Mccarthy didn't unleash Harrell on us). So i think the answer is obvious

Anyone who thinks the Steelers just come out and roll the Broncos tomorrow is insane. No Mendenhall, Rofflesberger hurt, Mike Wallace has collapsed during the second half of the season (hasn't had a 100 yard game since Week 7), Redman fumbled 4 or 5 times last week, that team isn't scary at all. Denver wins this.

:jnc

Joke post?

Oh, I'll be laughing my ass off when the Steelers lay a big turd tomorrow. And then I'll laugh even harder at all the prepared excuses:

POUNCEY
CLARK
MENDENHALL
BEN

Steelers are going to get trampled by McGahee and friends and Polamalu will whiff when trying to tackle Tebow on a TD run.

Why, calling out the refs on the dead ball fumble that would have put them up 21-7?

Fuck these piece of shit refs - they were AWFUL.

They really, really were. I was rooting for NO at the start, but the snottiness of the refs had me raging by the end. Fucking garbage

Wasn't that all Saban, who promptly fled to ALA once he realized he screwed up?

Pretty much. I forget why Dolphins fans hate Saban so much, his tenure in Miami was average at best....

Then I remember the Brees/Culpepper fuck up. And we drafted Ingram as a long overdue thanks.

True, and they should be called out.

Kosmo, just......just stop. For the sake of all Lions-GAF.

He isn't (I hope) blaming them for the loss but fuck they were atrocious.

WHAT????!!!! Why is Rivers on the set on NFLN. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I really don't see how the Steelers beat the Broncos with a banged up Rapist.

It's not really fair to talk shit against Packers fans; they can be indifferent about everything until they lose a meaningful game. Ah well, good for them.

Man that was some of the worst tackling I have ever seen in the playoffs. If the Saints and Packers play I might have to turn off the tv in disgust at the defense.

I think I am going to do the unthinkable and root for the Tebows tomorrow. We are not going to beat New England with a gimpy Ben and fucked up defense so I would rather just lose to the Tebow by a last second 99 yard FG by Prater (assist by Tebow).

Isn't that essentially the beauty of it? They just happen to root for the team that gets shit done
