On the night you get destroyed in your first playoff game in over a decade:
.

I am over the past.

But your team lost to this guy

Enjoy your present and future.

Pretty much. I forget why Dolphins fans hate Saban so much, his tenure in Miami was average at best....

Then I remember the Brees/Culpepper fuck up. And we drafted Ingram as a long overdue thanks.

Bobby Petrino's giant vagina obscures Saban's slightly smaller vagina down SEC way

Nope, not at all. They still had chances and didn't capitalize on any of them.

Alright, that's fair then. I was worried that you were going to start making the case that "the Lions could/would have won with the refs..." and I just can't stand that at this point. I agree that they sucked, but the final score wound up being such a deficit that I can't in any way put the loss on those calls. The Lions (specifically on defense) just did not do their jobs well enough.

Isn't that essentially the beauty of it? They just happen to root for the team that gets shit done

I know, but there are about five other "getting shit done" teams in the league, but the Packers don't really have anything to give em shit for. Aside from that ass-backwards, atrocious defense of theirs, but who really cares about defense in the regular season anymore? Apparently nobody; still winning games.

The playoffs have been rather crap so far. Both games were boring by the fourth quarter.

To the victor go the spoils

True shit.

No, that call was way too early in the game to say it affected the outcome, but 21-7 is a different game.

True shit.

Uhm, Steelers-Age(6 superbowls - oh they played football before the 60's? doesnt count lulz) and FMT(NINERS BIIIIIIIITCH 5-0 in the SUPERBOWL blah blah blah) gives Packers-GAF shit relentlessly

Got to watch the second half of the game. Unfortunately, that was the half of the game where the horrible Lions secondary showed up.

Schwartz is supposed to be some sort of defensive guru. Cunningham is supposed to be some sort of defensive guru. Both apparently suck because that defense could barely stop a Pop Warner team.

The Saints didn't punt in a game for the first time in FRANCHISE HISTORY. Think about that. Total insanity.

Naturally, at the Lions message board people are whining about the officiating. I don't care how bad the refs are--if you can't stop ONE drive you have no business whining about anything. I had the Saints winning 41-27...close enough.

Every draft pick needs to be on the defensive side of the ball next year.

Yes, losing on the road to GB and best QB flynn is exactly the same as losing KC at home to palko.

You made a great point.

You're right, yours is so much worse. If you won you wouldn't have had to play "the best team in the NFC" like you keep calling them. Your starters lost to their backups, the bears lost with their backups to their backups.

Great point!

edit: pronouns, lol.

I'm calling it now: Hines Ward scores an easy TD against the Broncos and smiles like a dipshit as he runs down the field...just like his cameo in The Dark Knight Rises. However, that's when things get bad. As in the trailer for Chris Nolan's latest overrated turd, Ward turns around to see the unimaginable--no, not piss poor CGI, but Big Ben on the ground clutching his obliterated knee.

And this is how Brady Quinn finally beats the Steelers.

Maybe avoiding best teams is Chicago way. But eventually the path to superbowl would have gone through the sainst anyway(obviously the best team in the NFC, just in case you missed my post).

Lol. Your backups?

I didnt realize one player represent the whole team... Lol. Hope that makes you feel better. Yes, losing to palko at home is OK, is that the chicago mentality?

Yea, I'm sure we'll hear it all year too.

And you're right about the defensive coaching. Gunther can't call a defense anymore and the defense can't execute at all. Detroit couldn't get off the field on 3rd down, and that was huge. The defense was tired, Brees was daggering, and Stafford was slanging at the end.

back 4 and front 7 need remodeling through free agency, trades, and the draft pretty badly. Stafford could lose a few pounds too

The front 4 could use some remodeling, actually. They got almost ZERO pressure on the QB over the last 7 games of the season. Just terrible.

No, there was fucking outrage. We were't feeling good about a loss like you currently are. I wish the bears could of played the lions with Hanie so he could of padded his stats and gotten a W since your team can't stop a fucking nose bleed.

Gotta love the LL Packers fans. I didn't know GAF had so many Wisconites in tow. Can't wait till that team and its belligerent fan base falls flat on its face.

A monk is walking in a forest when he spots a tiger. The tiger sees him as well and gives chase. The monk continues to run away from the tiger when he spots a cliff. He knows that he might be able to escape from the tiger if he jumps from the cliff. He realizes that he might plunge to his death so he grabs for whatever he can. Luckily there is a branch that he grabs. He is now dangling hundreds of feet barely holding onto the branch, when he realizes that on the branch there is a fruit at the end of the branch. He reaches out and eats the fruit, and it happens to be the most delicious fruit he has ever eaten.

Point of the story: Reach to the past the tiger is going to eat you, go to the future you will fall to your death. Enjoy the fruit that is in front of you now.

lol

Oh, I'll be laughing my ass off when the Steelers lay a big turd tomorrow. And then I'll laugh even harder at all the prepared excuses:

POUNCEY
CLARK
MENDENHALL
BEN

Steelers are going to get trampled by McGahee and friends and Polamalu will whiff when trying to tackle Tebow on a TD run.

Keep your bitter tears out of your beer tomorrow. We'll need to collect some of those.

Thanks Houston! Winning was exactly what we wanted. Now, we get the pleasure of crushing you at home, and advancing to the AFC Championship. Good win today, but we aren't Cincy, we're a real team. We beat you once, we'll beat you again. TJ Yates doesn't have a chance.

So Texans-GAF, be prepared for a delightful week of lead up and post victory shit talking.

Congrats for your first playoff win, and can't wait to serve you your first playoff loss.

You are comparing a regualr season lost to palko versus a playoff lost to the probable superbowl champion?

Ok

there were quite a few 3rd down conversions/big plays where the lions had guys in position, and then they would just do one of the following:

1. missed tackle
2. a guy is in zone and as the play progresses he drifts back to the inside WHEN THERE IS ALREADY A GUY IN A ZONE THERE! now the receiver clears him and there is no one out there
3. have brees in a good position to hit him and they just can't get to him. part of this is brees but there were a couple times where the lions were just on their stomaches, inches away from brees. stay on your feet and make the play

unfortunately for the lions, you can't really give a dangerous offense those types of plays. i'm just glad the niners were already eliminated so we don't have to face this unstoppable new orleans offense and their new found best running game of all time

Ok

You're right once again my friend, Chicagoans were upset about a regular season loss with a backup QB leading the team. Detroit is happy after losing in the playoffs.

Ok.
