Man i really love disney movies, my fav is definitely Lion king. I'd say the only disney movie that i've watched where the music felt out of place was probably hercules.

I need to rewatch a bunch of Disney films some time. Also need to rewatch Star Wars.
It's worth it, I have on my iPad nearly all the classics as well as everything Pixar, my nephews (esp. two year old baby) love watching them all day, over and over. I'm basically forced to do the same, lol.

Jasmine was like my first cartoon crush. >_>
Me too, especially since i'm middle eastern and as a kid I knew 'oh she's like me' or something, lol.

Just had the same thought. I genuinely want to watch Aladdin and The Lion King right now.

Aladdin came on tv the other evening. One Jump Ahead is still one of my favorite disney songs. I'd say my disney favorites are Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Hercules, and probably a few I can't think of this moment.

I actually like The Little Mermaid but it always reminds me of the book which is super depressing, which hampers my enjoyment. Pocahontas was enjoyable for Kocoum. I had a cartoon crush on him.

I know

Now if only we still had animated avatars, I could be all of you at once!

So much better than John Smith as voiced by Mel Gibson. Actually watching that movie recently I was rather surprised because I had no idea Christian Bale was in it.

1. The Lion King
2. Wall-E
3. Toy Story 3
4. The Incredibles
5. Finding Nemo

Ask me again in five minutes, this list will probably be completely different, except for The Lion King. That movie is just the fucking best

Good point

Absolutely.

Interesting lists. They are similar! XD!

Well if you include Pixar...It gets harder, i.e. classics vs 'pixar classics'. For example I absolutely love Monsters Inc, the Incredibles and finding Nemo, but it's hard to compare to my fans like Mulan, Aladdin etc.

OH, but if you include Fantasia, it's #1 above all, the 1942 version (not 2k). I used to watch that as a kid (like 4-6?) every day, the evolution and dinosaur scene especially made its mark on me.

Also, here's a little preview of something i'll be continuing later;

You guys are making me feel bad for not putting Aladdin on my list, I love that movie too... 5 is not enough.

But you're right, five isn't enough. I listed Alice and Wonderland as my #5, but there isn't a lot of space between that and The Rescuer's Down Under, The Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, or a bunch of others.

Pixar:

1) The Incredibles
2) Toy Story
3) Wall-E
4) Toy Story 2
5) Ratatouille
6) Finding Nemo
7) A Bug's Life
8) Toy Story 3
9) Monster's Inc

10) LOL

11) Cars

Haven't seen Up.

1.Lion King
2.Aladdin
3. Mulan
4. Little Mermaid
5. Hercules

Pixar:
1. The Incredibles
2. Finding Nemo
3. Toy Story 1-3
4. Monsters Inc
5. Wall-E

Checking around....

Damn not everything is in Blu Ray and some are very limited.

Snagged Lion King and Beauty and the Beast from Amazon so far..... guess Ill have to settle with DVDs lol

1. Alice in Wonderland (animated)
2. Nightmare Before Christmas
3. Fantasia
4. Up (if that counts)
5. Aladdin

Nightmare Before Christmas is on a completely different level for me. I grew up wanting desperately to be Sally and live in Halloween Town.

Alice in Wonderland, though, I really don't care for. I think that's because Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are my favorite books and the movie just cherry-picked different parts of them and smashed it together, without getting the tones of the books right, imo.

Did you guys know this about "When You Wish Upon A Star"?
In Japan, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark, the song has become a Christmas song, often referring to the Star of Bethlehem. The Swedish language version is called Ser du stjärnan i det blå, roughly translated: "do you see the star in the blue(sky)", and the Danish title is "Når du ser et stjerneskud", which roughly translates as "When you see a shooting star". In Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway the song is played on television every Christmas Eve in the traditional Disney one-hour Christmas cabaret, and the gathering of the entire family to watch this is considered a Scandinavian tradition.

That quickly went from impressive to one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed.
haha, yeah, he really brings it home.
