I will not turn on ESPN, click any sports sites or listen to any sports radio for the rest of the season, should that happen.
You and me both. I don't mind watching the guy, or even a post game interview, but Espn has to turn it into a fucking drama. I wish they would just go back to jerking off over Romo and Lebron.

From that Rodgers article posted earlier.

Hall of Fame coach Bill Walsh, in an October 2005 interview, said Rodgers might have maxed out physically.

"That's right," said Walsh. "What you see is what you get. He doesn't have great more potential that he doesn't show. He's part of a system and a real outstanding coach in college and all that. But I don't know where it's going to take him."

Where is your God now FMT??

The thing that worries me is that Gunther has been praising him both this season and last, just like he has been doing for Eric Wright.

That doesn't give me any comfort at all. Those guys are terrible. I firmly believe the game has passed Cunningham by and it's time to move on. His/Schwartz's stubborn refusal to switch from the atrocious "Wide 9" defense is mind-boggling.

Both Berry and Wright can just leave now.

Are we starting the over/under on how many cornerbacks we draft or acquire next year?

Watching the Steelers eat Tebow today will be the schadenfreuede I need to help me get over the Lions loss.

It's all gravy from this point on. If they lose I'll let you get your moment of hater bliss in. We had no expectations to be here, so hate all you want, but you won't see any salty pussy tears from me.

matt with a goatee

*swoon*

Not a full goatee necessarily, but what does this do for you?

Assuming Stafford and Calvin are healthy, is there any doubt this record is going down next season:

Most yards gained, season: 1,848, Jerry Rice, 1995

Or at least some time in the next 9 years - when Stafford will be as old as Brees is right now.

These days everybody wanna talk
But when they move their lips
It's a bunch of gibberish
Motherfuckere act like
They forgot about Walsh

I think we will see a ton of records fall next year. I'd be willing to bet the Marino record falls again as will Brady's td record and most other passing records. People can taste it now, but the only team really gunning for records was the saints. Next year there will be all kinds of padders.

Though, I still think its probably not one you want because it means your defense sucks...or you're padding.

thanks khan!!!!

It's hard for us to know how a guy interviews and projects a a HC versus being a coordinator, but why would a team have Schotty over Chud or Jay Gruden?

Didn't look at the stats until this morning. Texans lived by the big play. Watt INT TD, Dre 40 yd TD reception, and Foster 43 yd TD run. Still figure Yates will be forced to do more versus BAL, but with Flacco, you are never out of it

Shut up and give me your draft pick.

I'm coveraged out, I need this game to start. I've heard every angle from everyone since last Sunday night. It's clear that the key matchup is the Falcons OL versus the Giants DL. Someone on FAN was trying to say it's John Abraham versus Dave Diehl, fuck outta here.

I didn't even see the scores from yesterday until now.

Bengals & Lions. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The Steelers are one of the most unlikable teams in the history of the NFL. How anyone other than Pittsburgh natives can root for them is beyond me...

Roethlisberger, Hines Ward, James Harrison, Polamalu... good god

Wow, you're just trolling everyone. Show up late, crash the party, start throwing around insults. STFU.

Whoa, whoa, who. Don't throw Polamalu in with those d-bags. By all accounts, he's a likable dude who makes shitty commercials.

Yeah I shouldn't have put him in there

Substitute Polamalu with: 'terrible towels', boring games, that rugged blue-collar facade, and Pittsburgh in general.

Cornerbacks mean dick without pressure. You need to get a competent defensive line first.

Aside from picking up on the run, which is kind of a big deal, the line has gotten a fair amount of pressure throughout the year. I know Aikman started hating on them recently, but we've got depth there with some decent players. The Lions' cornerbacks, aside from Houston, couldn't even attempt to play man to man except in the pre-season against the Pats. When Houston went out, the only person to do much of anything was Smith who can be a good ball hawk when he chooses to be. And when Delmas went out, the cornerbacks couldn't take up the slack and tackle. It's a big need.

Today, I have decided that the team I'll root for (therefore the winners if my current 100% streak stays good) will be the Atlanta Falcons. Despite their headquarters being in flowery branch, they have only been in one superbowl. I always go for the underdogs.
Unless they're called the Browns.

Have you decided on a team moojito? I mean which one would you consider yourself a fan of? Or just taking it all right now?

Same here. Damnit I'm anxious and ready for this game start.

Falcons-GAF really appreciates your support my man!

Not yet, no. I'll wait until I've had a chance to see them all play and learn a bit about their histories first. The closest I think I have to a team I support overall would be the cardinals, as the first 2 or 3 games I watched had them playing in it, and every time I see their scores pop up I pay a bit more attention. Maybe that's all it takes to pick a team, who knows?

Go with the Packers. Best history in all of sports.
