So in OT, first team possession cannot win on a FG. If it a FG, other team gets a chance at possession. If second FG is made, then it goes to SD. if either team makes TD then the game is over.
 
I really hope this OT rule is just a stopgate until they implement the college OT rules in a few years (Maybe push the team back to starting at the 40 yard line).
 
if denver scores a td, the game is over.
if denver scores a fg, then pittsburgh has a chance to tie or win.
after denver scores a fg, if pittsburgh scores a fg, the game then reverts to a sudden death (old school NFL ot rules)
after denver scores a fg, if pittsburgh scores a TD, the game is over
 
Yes the ONLY thing that changes is that the first team cannot kick a fg to win. Everything else is exactly as it was.

I'm not sure why one would even attempt a fg on the first drive now. Just go for the TD or punt.
