yeah cyan, white, and pink from the get go would have been too good to be true. from a manufacturing standpoint, it would delay the phone by a couple months.

I really don't get MS . I want a windows phone but i'm not moving to att , they have the worse service in the area. Where are the sprint phones ? Its like MS doesn't want my money. Guess i'm going galaxy 2

nice to see ATT give some straight up WP love

Eh... won't matter if the individual store personal don't push the product.

Are we sure it's MS and not Sprint just not really caring about the phones?

don't think it's MS, it's the carriers that are sucking too much android/ iphone juice to give a shit

they will come around as market share grows and money is being left on the table.

ATT seems the only carrier willing to invest in the partnership

That's what the money is for.
It's absolutely ridiculous to be one year into Windows Phone's career and counting market share. Everything to Microsoft is an opportunity. Microsoft should be thanking Apple every morning when they wake up along with Steve Jobs for giving them another day as they hold off Google.

I really see a parallel here with how MS made there way with the Xbox... significant investment, better product, smart partnerships, continued improvement of services, maybe a little luck and ...patience

I can't get over how damn attention grabbing that blue is. Such a different design compared to near everything else out there.

Hmm, no surprises. As long as I get my battery fix, I won't regret my Lumia 800 yet.

And yes, the cyan is awesome. Some of my Apple-loving friends were talking about the "LEGO phone" until they actually got to see it.

Let's think back to the last time Verizon partnered with Microsoft. I believe that product was cancelled faster than Kim Kardashian's latest marriage.

Microsoft hasn't made a compelling reason why carriers should be pushing their products as opposed to Android products (where carriers have more control) and the iPhone (which is pulled by demand). Especially given that WP7 sales aren't exactly lighting up the charts.

Looks like a step in the right direction for Windows Phone and Nokia (and dare I say AT&T)... The polycarbonate body looks great, great optics on both the front and back lenses, and a nice sized screen. At this very moment though, I think I'll stick with my HTC Titan and wait til Apollo and see what Nokia has cooking up then.

I guess some of you might watch the Microsoft Keynote too later 'today'. In that case, could you guys do me a favor? It's 1AM now and I really have to get up early. I'll miss the MS Keynote, but I want to rewatch it 'unspoiled'. Can somebody PM me a link where I can rewatch the keynote when it's over/ after the keynote? I could google, but I don't want all the headlines to show up :( I'd much appreciate it. I'm off to bed now, peace!

Whats with the really high end phones these days having huge screens.

Expecially with stuff like WP7 is there any real pros for having a bigger screen?

and what about sprint. Sprint lacks great phones . WP7 could fill their line up quite well and i'm sure Ms would love to enter a joint advertising relationship with Sprint.

Look. I'm a fan and want the phone , but to move from sprint i will be paying twice as muc for worse service . when i was rdy to upgrade my touch pro there was no wp7 device on sprint , only att . So i went with the epic 4g. Now i'm getting rdy for a new phone and once again there is nothing new wp7 coming on sprint. so right now it looks like its the galaxy 2 .

MS is just loosing money
