It's the screen. It just doesn't fit the phone quite as nicely as the 800's does.

But if I didn't know the 800, I'd probably be all over it.

Yep 800's screen just fits better. I hate the extra rim around the screen on the 900.

At any rate I hope the 900 does well and the Nokia products in general help push the platform. I also hope the 900 is the big 1st half of the year phone.

I'm really semi meh on new hardware until Apollo with a new kernel. So I hope we have new hardware beyond this that we could get in the fall when the new version of the OS is out.

I think the 900 looks great even without the curve glass. As for Titan II, I would be piss if I didn't get mine for a penny. They could at least make Titan II white or silver or something but I am glad no silly beat logo.

I'll be curious about the battery life of the 900.. since it's an LTE device..

I am upgrade eligible on ATT now.. so if the numbers look good I might be tempted when it comes out.

Going to try to wait until year's end, though.. I want to see what's coming later on..

It's absolutely ridiculous to be one year into Windows Phone's career and counting market share. Everything to Microsoft is an opportunity. Microsoft should be thanking Apple every morning when they wake up along with Steve Jobs for giving them another day as they hold off Google.

Well done, btw.

Ugh ... I'm trying to resist the Cyan 900, but it's hard.

My expectation is there will be a Nokia Hero phone for Apollo with similar style, but includes a 720p display, dual-core, and 1GB RAM. I want to wait for it, but this looks sexy.

ARGGGGGGG

So from Windows 8 preview, are all the apps going to be in HTML5?

and Ballmer look crazy all the times.... i thought it was just snap shot of him that make him look insane.

apps can be written in pretty much any windows language i think.

Nokia released a video (see my post higher up) with Elop with him stating the 710 will be coming to Rogers and the 800 to Telus. Balmer said the 710 and 800 to Rogers and Telus. Hope Balmer is more correct.
Looks like 710 is on both and 800 is exclusive to Telus.

Wonder what Bell is doing. They've been really stepping up their game with grabbing exclusive Androids over the past year or so.

So the only differences between Lumia 800 and 900 are the size, screen size, and Front camera? Specs are same?

Those are the best specs that Windows Phone supports at the moment, that's why every 2G phone is pretty much the same in that regard. Even the 710 has the same 1.4 GHz processor and 512 megs of RAM

Hmm I just upgraded to the original Focus last February. Looks like I'll have to wait for WP8, but I wish I could get a Lumia 800/900.

All I hear from Ballmer is Blah, blah blah, Windows Windows Windows!!

I would not be surprise if next Windows Phone is going to be call Windows Phone Windows 8 Windows Mobile series, featuring Windows.

If the 800 was with Rogers I would be maybe do an early upgrade and pay the difference. Or just sell my Focus and get an unlocked Lumia that can work on the Rogers network.

WP8 is rumored to bring support for multi core Qualcomm, ST-Ericsson (for Nokia), and Samsung processors. Their leaked slides said "competitive Superphones" so I'm hoping that means specs near-par with Android.

Really hope I'm not tempted by a Lumia 900. Upgrade is in April... argggggg -_-

to all of you crying about no curved glass, glass seal, blah blah, you can buy the 800 in the US from microsoft stores.

i'll wait for the white one. whether it's the 800 or 900.
