Navi vs N9: http://www.own3d.tv/user/DotA#/watch/382718

For anyone who missed it.

There is absolutely nothing to learn from this game beyond the picking phase

:lol :lol :lol
I think it's actually quite painful to see professional teams play this bad.
On the hand n9 is very good, could already see that they were way better than most teams the first game they played in the defense, I would probably place them in the top 5

That build actually works surprisingly well, we couldn't keep the game going long enough to get to 5 though.
Playing with swag and hyuna feels good, haven't done that in a while. Shoutouts to whoever Xanthe is, and kneepat ofc.
Thought Xanthe was one of your friends LOL

yo dawg that SK king of manliness. He has three rapiers; one for each hand and the third for the hand of midas. Your shit didn't mean shit.

I must express my distaste for armlet. The only heroes I like to get armlet on are Skeleton King and Huskar, and that's it. Every other strength hero has something better they can use.

I'm fond of Armlet on Slardar. It gives him:

1) Huge damage to compliment his ult
2) Much needed AS to proc his stuns and for animation canceling.
3) HP regen to stay in the lane
4) A chunk of HP when he really needs it, since he's always at the forefront of the fight
5) Big plays/troll potential

I agree not every STR hero benefits from it though.

Glad to see people are seeing the power of Drums.
I tried them once in a CM game I was stomping, worked out really well actually. I don't think I would make them on the regular, but I can definitely see the benefit. My only gripe with them is the recharge cost, and the number of charges you get per recharge. Expensive item.

Drum was "I have loads of money and no space", but still, hitting R, W running into the enemy, right good fun. I died towards the end and respawned in 3 seconds!!

Yeah that's basically how he ends up towards the end as a semi-carry; he essentially turns into a DPS spam machine once you get the mana pool up and (ideally) some kind of good protection.

I should try a shadow blade build with him just for shits and giggles.

Yep, yep, yep, you got it!

There are two ways to play slardar; with armlet or not at all!

wait no, actually, it's as carry going armlet or bkb, or as initiator going blink

Just had a 100 minute game. We were winning teamfights. But furion was rich, and we couldn't push back before he bought back and ulted, or didn't participate in the fight and constantly ulted, so while we pushed one lane, the other two would be pressed against the towers, this continued until we had mega creeps in the base. We held those of for 20 minutes before they broke through. Awful, awful game.

A naix without armlet? :|
Armlet is really easy to make and is very cheap for how much damage it gives you. If you get an early armlet on naix, you do sooo much damage
