No. Away goals don't count for either game until the end of extra time (if it goes to that)

But if it gets to extra time, City will have to have matched Liverpool's away goals anyway, unless they score here, and it ends 0-0 at Anfield. That's the only way Liverpool will be able to take advantage of them.

Say in normal time at Anfield City win 1-0.

After ET they win 2-1. It's 2-2 on aggregate, but they go through on away goals...an away goal that was scored in 30 minutes at Anfield which were not played at the Etihad.

Yeah, it's a bit stupid. I'm against away goals all together.

That was really boring. I should have watched Spurs instead...ah well, good solid performance from Liverpool. Second half was just defending really and they dealt with the little City threw at them very easily.

Good show, Liverpool big favourites to win this Cup now.

I'm an idiot for thinking Adebayor can score.
I know that feel bro. 8 points from Adebayor, BAE would have give us 48.

Great result and all but yeah, I felt sorry for Gerrard a lot of times today, the quality around him is below average. New players that aren't english ones need to be signed.

Spurs

I'm so sorry I doubted you tonight

Is Spurs slowly becoming favorites to take the title? Their current form is nothing less than spectacular. Now they're tied for second place.

It was as much of a red of Kompanys was if they use the same logic but logic never comes into football much

The difference was that Richards(?) didn't have the ball at all, Johnson got there first and there was no contact between the players. Different situations for me and not evidence of inconsistency.

I'd love Spurs to win the league... sure, Harry is a twonk, but they're playing some good stuff. Plus it'd probably make it easier for Harry to take over as England boss if Spurs win it. I guess Harry is probably debating whether he wants to take over England when there's a possibly of winning the league over the next couple of years if they don't do it this.

Thanks for wasting my time tonight Liverpool and City. BOOORRRRIIINNNGGGG.

Fake Edit

I don't see Spurs winning the league - I'd like for them to prove me wrong though - but I see them burning out before the end of the season.
