is it me or do these stats make Evans look far too good.
Well, Macheda being off the bench is a great thing. He had no touch whatsoever when he came on. Maybe he came on at difficult times and with relatively shambolic service but it didn't seem like he had anything to offer. Putting Diouf on the bench is taking the piss, at this point. I'd prefer to see what Will Keane can bring, if we get down to that.
Chris Coleman in the Wales job. Glad he's there.
Glad too that the knobhead who came out in the days after with "Gary would have wanted me in the job" didn't get it.
Oh, and don't read the Mail's Rooney story. He says that the dressing room is a rough spot, arguments happen all the time, and that while he doesn't agree with the fine and being dropped, he accepts it. That's it.

evans has been great this season, really stepped up when he's needed.
No more so than when he plays alongside the corpse of Phil Neville. If he's a warm body that keep Neville out of central midfield, bring him in.
He really has, but his few mistakes are magnified an insane amount.

I was huh? Kompany, Silva, and the Toures were REALLY missed though...the game was a bit dull to be honest, City were not horrible, especially in the second half, but they lacked a good final touch. I don't expect them to pull through at Anfield, but it would be most interesting if they did!
Seems to a football problem in general. In Chelsea's last few games, they played their best performances against their toughest opponents (City and Tottenham) and went to hell against opponents who are nowhere near the top (Wigan, Fulham, and Aston Villa). Same with Barca, they played so beautifully against Madrid, and then they played so horridly against an 8th-ranked team.
Dull game indeed. I stayed up for it, and now I'm dead tired : [

Personally, I think that's a horrible thing to say, to any player, in any team. Also, why exactly is he a cunt? Is it because of turning his back on Arsenal and going for a better offer or?
BTW congrats on being joint with United. What an achievement. Two horse race is now a three horse race.

Greg Stobart saying Levy met with Ganso's representatives in London and was offered the player for £15 million. According to him Levy wants the player as part of our long term strategy, and he's someone that's highly recommended by Ian Broomfield (chief scout). Similar situation to what happened with Sandro by the sound of it.

Potentially, yes. He was fantastic against us, and I've seen him once or twice live this season. Can flitter in and out of games but has a lot of ability.

Milan's penalty record is downright silly. I'd put a fiver down on Juventus winning by at least two. They're at home against Cagliari, for one, and I wouldn't be surprised if they also get a clean sheet.
