Borriello has a small concern. Might be ready for Cagliari but I think he'll be bench ready.

Do not want Nainggolan. Indonesia's best player or no, I'm sorry, do not rate him highly. What's even more frightening is apparently we made a bid for Beharami from Fiorentina. Fuck me, what is that shit? Not interested. If we're going to sign average players, we may as well not sign them at all.

Amauri situation to be solved in the next two days. Probably Fiorentina, I think.

Grosso probably going to Lecce, which, like Toni's potential move to Bologna, is a bit below his standard to be fair. That'll be okay if we end up with Kolarov a move which, while exciting, I feel is unlikely. The problem for me is that'd push Bonucci to the bench since Chiellini would move into the CB role, and excepting the Napoli game, I think Bonbon has been good overall. I really don't want to disrupt our defence (top in the league, I might add).

Mascara signed for Novara, which, again, from our perspective we could have sent Pasquato there and got him playing time.

whoa tottenham tied with united at second place? i bet no one saw that coming.

I wonder if modric regrets not leaving for chelsea now, lulz.

what a steal rafael van der vaart was.

VdV is great but really it's Modric and Bale who run the show (and grudgingly I must admit Scott Parker continually impresses). Spurs' midfield is performing at such a high level.

If Spurs buy a couple of players, they can win the title. City has been inconsistent in the last month, something we haven't seen from Tottenham yet. I really don't doubt them.

You made me post for the first time after lurking around FootyGaf for more than one year. You are not alone, I´m also a Sporting fan.
Exciting game tonight, we didn´t play well but we were very unlucky. Losing Wolfswinkel in the first 10 min was an huge blow, we don´t have a decent alternative to him on the bench.
Bojinov has been disappointing, Rubio showed some promise on the start of the season but he never did much when he was called to play in recent matches.
Maybe Sebastian Ribas can be that alternative, we just have to wait and see.

Look who joined the party.

:O But we have a solid team again so you should at least watch some of out games

lol, but he has a point.

COYS!

Marotta :lol He has to ruin it, doesn't he?

Nainggolan: I watched very little of him, but I like what I'm reading :P We'll see for ourselves in three days I guess ;)
Beharami: What? NO!
Kolarov: I still like him, but he's expensive, and Mancini is a little bitch. He likes stockpiling as many overpaid bench warmers as possible.

I feel bad for Bonucci, he really stepped up his game lately! In all scenarios, he's definitely not going to start over Chiellini if we end up with a solid LB.

If Spurs won the title it would be great.

Of course I want United to win it, and of course I'd rather Spurs than City...but being as neutral as possible, it would be amazing for the league.

Also, the wanking over 'Arry may be insufferable...but to be fair to the man, when he took over that club were in the relegation zone. Okay, it probably would not have stayed that way and the team was obviously better than it's position suggested...but still, the turn around in 2 years has been incredible.

If Spurs won the league, I'd have to go cull a percentage of the Spurs fanbase. A load of people I know are the worst type of football fans as it is but for Spurs to win the league would send them in to overdrive and I'd be more than happy to go down in history as a serial killer.

Stewart Downing was arrested for assaulting his ex girlfriend.

He is using all the Premier League full backs as witnesses to prove he's never beaten anyone.

Are the English press getting their stories from the Italian media? Twitter is more reliable than Italy.

City need to win the Premier League so City doesn't get a coach that would crush the world with the team they have.

You've got a point there. :P

Why do you blame Moyes? He is a good coach. Look at the money he has at his disposal. How many players have Everton added in the last 2-3 years (I forget exactly how long it's been since their financial troubles began) and what was the total monetary expenditure? Blame the owner. If he doesn't have the financial resources to support a successful Premier League team, he needs to sell to someone who does.

I am blaming Moyes because the blame falls on him when the team is on the pitch, simple as that. I know that he apeasr to be a saint outside of the fans of Everton because of media and Kenworths inability to manage a club. But he isn't a good manager tactically and while he has a great amount of talent at his disposal, he doesn't use them.

I am ot gonna repeat what I have said over and over again in this thread, but yes financially he isn't supported, but the players we have are enough workforce to at least be best of the rest. The owner(s) may be thick headed, but they don't have many option to work with and Moyes and (people outside of the club) shoudl STFU about finance when we have one of the academy in the country and players who can get inot any national team easily.
Wasn't there a stat somewhere recently that Moyes had spent just £20 million over the past few seasons? What Moyes does at Everton is seemingly a miracle.

Aye. Fellaini and Billy were expensive investments when they came two/three years ago. add to the fact the small players we have signed here and there who were young enough to play at PL game, and you have a a major investment.

Media and people
who don't know better to shut their mouth off before talking about Everton
should do some research

Pato: "Milan is my home. I did not want to interrupt my career with the Rossoneri after winning my first two trophies with this shirt. I want to contribute to the writing of Milan’s history and to the future success of this club, in perfect harmony with everything. This joy gives me the energy to face future matches with more enthusiasm, with the desire to win and to score goals. Today is a special day for me. I thank the Prime Minister Berlusconi, the club and the fans who have always believed in me.”

That's more like it! I guess he's not bored yet of Barbara Berlusconi :P

Good player. I'm called Felipe too btw =P

Your last name better not be Melo :P

Wow.. extraordinary stuff.

So lets say Moyes leaves for whatever reason. Who comes into Everton right now and does a better job?

Yeah, if we don't then I wouldn't be pissed at all at Spurs winning. They've been fantastic this season. Highly doubt they will though.

Looking through OT1, some predictions!:

Villa are replacing Downing with N'Zogbia. One of the most underrated players in the league and a fantastic signing at £9 million.

Top Scorer: Carlos Tevez

I think RVP has a very strong shout in being top goal scorer next season. He equalled the highest goal record (18) of the second half of the season after spending much of it injured. If he stays fit, I can see him +25. We haven't had a striker like that since Henry

Fucking beautiful. Kenny will be watching from home and I'm sure Aquilani just ensured his position in the team next season.

There's some gaining traction in rumours of a bid from us for Scott Parker. Frankly I think £7m is a bit steep for someone of his age.

Villareal can destroy the 95% teams of Serie A.

the conspiracy plot thickens!

United are only going to become champions if they get an exceptional player like Sneijder, otherwise it's city or chelsea.

I'm supporting man city / PSV btw.

And table predictions:

1. Chelsea
2. City
3. United
4. Arsenal

1) Chelsea
2) United
3) Liverpool
4) Arsenal

FA Cup: Liverpool
Carling Cup: Villa

Champions League: Real

1) United
2) Chelsea
3) Arsenal
4) Liverpool

FA Cup: Spurs
Carling Cup: Liverpool

I think CL football is going to have a real impact on Man City's league performance.

I think City will win it eventually. I just don't think it's next season. Villas Boas will win it for Chelsea, I feel he'll make a lot of different like Dalglish made for us.

I think we will challenge for the title. But I don't think we will win it.

Since when is Felipe Santana good enough to keep him instead of Subotic ?

He's just as good. And he's awesome.

The problem is that I doubt Santana will spend another year behind Subotic and Hummels. I'm pretty sure he'd stay and sign a new contract instantly if he would see a chance to become a starter. And Subotic will end up in England rather sooner than later, anyway, as much as I like him.

holy shit. apparently berlusconi stepped in and blocked the tevez and pato deals.

what a guy, looking out for his daughter. :)

i'm not too sad if we don't get tevez, we don't really need him tbqh. give el-shaarawy more playing time plz.

New contract for Stevie G, also will be club ambassador when he hangs his boots up.

Edit : I see good news travels fast.

I still think N'Zogbia was a good signing at £9 million. He just not in good form at the moment. I don't watch enough of Villa to say whether that is McLeish's fault or not.
