Frankman was good in my book. We had our tiffs in the NBA and NFL threads but his posting style is fun and at times hilarious.

I have this picture of him sitting in front of a computer monitor surrounded by empty Redbull bottles searching for gifs. Would that make him "typical"?

He was the head coqch of the Florida Tuskers who had by far the best talent in the league

Brooks Bollinger was the best qb both years, he had a great defense, and a good running back. Yet he pissed away a ton of good games in that league

I loved the UFL, in case you think im trolling

Jay gruden was the worst of the head coaches there, maybe not as bad as dennis green

I warned you guys not to leave NFL-GAF! Whatever you kids want to talk about we can do it here!

I also don't understand how posters who have been here for years don't know that you can't post anything other than "dis gunna b good" and "popcorn" .gifs in those threads.

Who gives a shit about how a coach did in a joke league that no one cared about?

Everybody in that league was fighting for their nfl lives in hopes of making the NFL

This includes head coaches too.

Sine Jay Gruden was the head coach of a team, a job thatmight propel him to a great position in the NFL, dont youthink he would try just a little bit? Plus if he was awful ina socalled "joke league" then why the hell does he deserve an NFL head coaching job

I think it was his post before that where he prophesied his own banning.

Yeah I looked at that to, I didnt think you could get banned for saying I dont want to get banned, but maybe it is an unwritten rule. It is to bad that they dont mark posts that get people banned. It would be a good way for people to see what is and what is not okay to say.

Edit: Here is the other post in question: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=34207814&postcount=3770

I don't know that he deserves one, but he has done a great job with a crazy young Bengals offense, which shuffles him to the head of the line.

Also, so-called joke league? What are you, Jim UFL? Not a single person gave a shit about that league, evidenced by the fact that Brooks Bollinger was a UFL stud. Wasn't he also some kind of wizard in the Arena Football League? woooooooooo!

Not always going to happen, but you are taking a chance every time you do.
It's why I'm not gonna be posting on gaming side during E3.
Threads will be filled with thread-shitting assholes and the posters that get fed up with it and say something will be more likely to get banned.

Todd Haley interview was pushed back till today. And why the Jets are going after him:

Sparano and Haley are from the Bill Parcells coaching tree and they worked together with the Cowboys, 2004 to 2006. Haley was the passing-game coordinator/wide receivers coach, and Sparano was the offensive-line coach in charge of the running game.

Sparano has no background with quarterbacks, and that's why -- as I wrote Tuesday -- the Jets need to make a big splash with this hire because they need somebody who can fix Mark Sanchez.

If he gets the gig, it looks like it might be Mark's last chance.

I've been posting on the Gaming side less and less frequently because of how quickly threads seem to degenerate nowadays. Shame, it was Gaming that brought me onto GAF to begin with.

It's easy to forget that Watt is a rookie, damn the 2011 draft was a good one.

I'm trying to rank what I think will be the top 10 players out of the draft and it's easier said than done. Here's what I've got so far:

1) Cam Newton
2) Aldon Smith
3) Patrick Peterson
4) AJ Green
5) Von Miller
6) JJ Watt
7) Andy Dalton
7) DeMarco Murray
8) Marcell Dareus
9) Julio Jones
10) Ryan Kerrigan

And on top of that there were several more players I was really impressed by like: Torrey Smith, Richard Sherman, Mike Pouncey, Tyron Smith, Cameron Heyward, and Christian Ponder.

That's not even mentioning some of the 1st rounders that didn't get much playing time this year like Prince Amukamara, Jake Locker, Mark Ingram, and Nick Fairley. It is easily one of the best draft classes of the last decade.

I wish LA broadcast had shown more 49ers games; they are kind of an enigma to me. We got plenty of lousy Raiders and Chargers games, though, even some Rams (due to that ancient LA connection).

People forget that Haley and Woody Johnson have a very good relationship.

Haley will be working for the Jets unless somebody offers him a head coaching job.
