A very significant amount of people bought Yakubu this week. He's got incredible value for his scoring record and a lot of people dropped Ba since he went to the African CON.

Valencia is playing pretty well for United right now.

United are creating chances but not scoring. I think the goal will come for them but the longer it takes the more worried I'll get

Yes that's the transfer I made. Little did I know that Yakubu would turn out to be an assassin. Will have to look for yet another striker next week.

We need some strikers on the pitch from the beginning of the second half. ~70% possession and only one shot on target. Also I hate Stoke.

really happy with the performance. creating lots of space, carrick, the cbs and scholes helping dominate midfield and wellbeck was magnificent. the only worry was the lack of a goal thanks to rooney not being on song and bogdan the opposite, but that was changed in the best possible way :)

Half Time and Liverpool have had good movement, but no end product. Question is, do we throw Carroll on and hope he scores, but also risk there being no movement AND no end product. Stoke came for a point, 10-11 behind the ball all the time as expected. This time we've not got Suarez to break them down though. Can see it being a boring 0-0 and more points dropped. :(

Some good crosses that would be fantastic for Carroll, but yet again those crosses only come when he isnt on the pitch.

There haven't really been that many good crosses for Carroll so far, it doesn't look like his game. Really the midfield is far too defensive, despite the fact that Adam, Gerrard & Henderson are all ostensibly attacking midfielders, for no apparent reason there is just no desire to really attack from any of them. Further, I wouldn't say the formation is too defensive either, it has contained Stoke perfectly, plus Skrtel and Coates have both been free to roam into Stoke's half- surprisingly to some effect as well - so it really is quite baffling how little Liverpool have been able to create.
