Rafael reminding me why I really, really like him. Good half.

Yes, a nice reminder of what it's like to have a natural right-back playing. Evans has been pretty good, too, but he always is when it's going easy - put him in a 50/50 situation and his concentration seems to waver.

I'd get Carroll or Bellamy on early. Get someone in the box, too many times completely devoid of red shirts when we're looking to play the final ball.

Premier league half time scores:
Code:
Aston Villa 0 - 0 Everton
Blackburn 1 - 0 Fulham
Chelsea 1 - 0 Sunderland
Liverpool 0 - 0 Stoke
Man Utd 1 - 0 Bolton
Tottenham 0 - 1 Wolves
West Brom 0 - 1 Norwich

There haven't really been that many good crosses for Carroll so far, it doesn't look like his game. Really the midfield is far too defensive, despite the fact that Adam, Gerrard & Henderson are all ostensibly attacking midfielders, for no apparent reason there is just no desire to really attack from any of them. Further, I wouldn't say the formation is too defensive either, it has contained Stoke perfectly, plus Skrtel and Coates have both been free to roam into Stoke's half- surprisingly to some effect as well - so it really is quite baffling how little Liverpool have been able to create.

Stoke are playing like a brick wall. Getting in the way of every move. Doing a good defensive job really. Combined with that, our runners are constantly mistiming their runs. They're in the box when there's nothing on, and not there when a good ball is put in. It's frustrating.

Just seen the Yak's challenge for being sent off. A high foot and he caught the player.

So what was Scholes' tackle like on Mark Davis?

Went to kick the ball and hit Davies. Should probably have been a booking but never a red.

I wouldn't say that they're mistiming their runs, it just seems that way since there is only ever on midfield player in the box. There seems to be some sort of agreement between the 3 that only 1 will ever be in the box at one time or something. Stoke have offered nothing so far and Liverpool have 3 defenders, it makes no sense not to be a little more gung-ho. Reckon Shelvey could well be the answer in this situation, he's certainly one to have no qualms about getting forward.

Watched highlights of all the games:

Bad defending from Bolton, but still good positioning from Red Head.
Yakubu with an idiotic challenge.
Crazy free kick from Pedersen.
Unlucky Torres, poor bastard, lucky Chelsea.
Fletcher doing it again for Wolves. True goal scorer goal.
Nice goal for Norwich.

Go, go, go Liverpool.

Put Scholes in my fantasy team this week. And look how that paid off! Keep it up Scholesy!

Bet's totally on today too, just need Cardiff to pop one in, ergh.

Why the fuck couldn't the FA put a earlier or later game on, instead of having them on all at 3.00 pm ? It's just so bloody stupid. You may as well spread out the games instead of having it in the same timeslot. It's the one thing I hate about the PL. End rant.

wellbeck and rooney don't quite have the same relationship that rooney and hernandez do. hopefully it'll come with more time.

Not really.

Well yeah they need to give him a chance. Protest against the owners fair enough, but give Kean a chance. Let's face it. He can't play arguably two of his best players because the owners have told him not to. Because if he does, they automatically get extended contracts because of clauses in their contracts.

Venky's are a joke. Kean needs a chance. The players want to play for him, that is evident.
