Dzeko hasn't scored in the league for 2 months. 4 of his 10 goals were scored in 1 match against Spurs. He hasn't been that great this season tbh.
 
Madrid will still win
because of the man in my avatar :).

Glad welbecks injury isn't serious, his link up play keeps us moving the ball around quicker than chicha would. Plus he's scoring goals too.

Dzeko is a very good striker, but going to Man City was a big mistake. A striker like Dzeko (and Gómez) needs to play every game as starter to build confidence.

Gómez was awful when benched, but now that he is always in the starting line up, well, you can see the results.
 
We played well today away to chelski, we really miss a real goal scorer if we had had bent today i think we might have nicked it. Bendtner alough played wellish isnt good enough infront of goal.

I saw Dzeko play at Wolfsburg and I know that he's a good striker. Last season he wasn't great at City but that was because he wasn't used to the League yet. I'm not sure whats going on with him this season. At times he's been lethal in front of goal. And other times he's looked like Andy Carroll in front of goal. It doesn't help that he's only been getting games as a substitute recently.
 
Didn't play bad today against Chelsea, probably deserved a point.

Desperately need a strikers though, Bendner just isn't good enough and Wickham and Ji are still young. Be interesting to see what Frazier brings to the team once we he's back in the squad.

EDIT: good goal from Madrid. Not a penalty for hand ball either.
 
Awesome game from real madrid. They went all in and got the result. Mallorca played a fantastic game they pushed madrid in ways no team had done before today.
 
Madrid is going to win la liga this season, the difference between us and them is simple when he fall behind in a match we usually lose or end up tying when they fall behind they come out winning.

5 points is too much in this league because the other teams are so bad that you can't hope for them dropping points along the way.

Meh, it came down to ref decisions a lot. Barca should've beaten Espanyol with that handball penalty, and today Mallora should've been 2-0 up if not for a retarded offside decision.

But sure madrid is a bit more lethal up front.

I don't agree with you, Barca tied with espanyol because they got complacent and didn't kept playing with enough intensity to win. Mallorca lost today because of what real madrid did, not because of ref decisions, that's obvious to anyone that watched the game.

All protests today have been aimed at Venkys but don't let that stop you.

Makes me laugh that Sunderland fans protest against the manager - no reaction, Liverpool fans protest against the owners - no reaction, United fan against the owners - no reaction.

Rovers fans against the owners and manager who within a year have pretty much ruined the club - fans are dicks in the medias eyes.

Anyway fuck it.

Great win today, Yakubus red looked harsh when I saw it, in fact it looked a harsh yellow from the stands but in the game today you just don't get away with it.

Our third goal was world class, lovely scoop pass.

Today highlights just how shit some teams in this league are, we have been beyond shit nearly all season and should be bottom by miles yet one win and we go out of the bottom 3 for a night.
 
Just saw higlights from the RM game. Awesome shot by CR7, too bad it hit the bar. Great goal by Callejon, placed the shot very well.

Oh and, I think this is the 1st time I have exactly the same number of pts in FL as the average (20 pts).

Dalglish should have learned from Tottenham of how to keep a targeted man (Modric), no matter how much Chelsea offered (since I'm talking about Torres and Raul...)
Now look how far Tottenham have gone. Liverpool were weak and sold their best players to a rival, replaced them with average ones and the result is clear to everyone.

Bad management pisses me off more than anything, it's the club's own fault for all the mistakes made in the transfer window (since money wasn't a problem).

Read this post I found on Rawk. It pretty much says everything it needs to be said about Kenny.

I said it before in this thread but my post went missing, we had perfect players to play pass & move system and get the best out of our best player in Suarez who had to work less than this year and focus on finishing and creating chances in the final third. We did two mistakes IMO, we tried to base our system to get the best out Carroll and not the best out of Suarez and in doing so, we changed personnel too soon, disrupting the cohesion of the team and in doing so, Suarez had to work harder trying to create chances for himself and others without the help that he used to get from the likes of Maxi, Kuyt & Meireles who were intelligent players who understood his movement and not only wanted the ball, played pass & move perfectly but they also knew how to take good positions that would make opposition defenses tire for the 90 mins.

The second mistake was that we bought players without having a tactical system in mind, we saw X had good stats, Y had good stats and bought both without taking into consideration which system the team X & Y employed, which system would X & Y thrive in and if it is suitable to our team and existing players or not. That's why till now we don't know if we want to play 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, whether we want to adopt pass & move possession based football with short passes and quick tempo, or counter attacking based football with long direct passes, with less movement in the middle and more emphasis on the runs from the wings. We bought Suarez, Henderson, Enrique and Bellamy who play better in the first system and then you have Carroll, Downing & Adam who play better in the second (Bellamy can play in both systems since he is pacey as well as an intelligent player) and then tried to mix all these buys into one system to fit both set of players and it is not working at all for us at the moment.

Saw highlights. Man Carroll is just shit, although Stoke were rough as fuck but that ain't nothing new. Blackburn are fucking crazy. West Brom needs some points or Roy is going to rip his eyes out with that aggressive face rubbing he does. Suprs dropped the ball finally.

Swansea is going to be a good game tomorrow but they can pass through teams pretty well. Hopefully Vorm just passes to Arshavin again.
