I remember last summer when some Spurs fans on here saying Chelsea were classes because AVB "keeps talking about our player", in so much as he said once after the sage was over, something along the lines of, "we made bids for Modric which have been turned down and that is the end of it". Why doesn't Ben Arfa start in midfield? He'd be a good playmaker/midfield goalscorer.
Cos Pardew is a dumbass. Probably thinks he isn't quite 100% yet.
Ben Arfa isn't perfect but by heck he's one of the best players in the team and can, and will, make a difference to a match, as he so easily showed against Blackburn.
Ben Arfa should be starting every game as the main right winger. Obertan is shite. Have Ba and Best (or a new striker) up front and we'd be good to go.
He's a good number 10 when it comes to the attacking third, but defensively he's atrocious. I think he's not yet in top physical form and his discipline tracking runs of opposing defenders needs a lot of work.
But he'll be a true force to be reckoned with as he matures. Another great signing for Newcastle. He'd already be even better if that psycho De Jong hadn't broken his leg.
