I received my beta key from Play Dota.com on January 5th, didn't realize it was sent through my pm until the 6th. I don't play any games other than dota, too busy to touch other shit. Well, other than xenoblade.
Not nearly as much as someone who spends his day terrorizing DOTA chatrooms and checking message boards if anyone has talked about him.

cool. I just haven't built up the motivation to boot into Windows and so I have yet to install this copy I've had for weeks now. Oh well. I'll get to it.
There is no record of Xanthe in the Playdota winner listings, on the January 5th post or on any other listing. I've seen said account post here and there on those forums, so it should be there assuming he won it from the draw and not just an act of mod charity (which is certainly possible). Eh, it's weird, but certainly not incriminating.

I'm pretty sure he came to Dota 1 before Magicka came out, but they are quite similar mechanically. I prefer the design of Invoker because it's much more focused. He has a spell for everything instead of about 20 spells for everything of varying degrees of usefulness and style. Magicka overwhelmed the player and you would often freeze up while playing it because you had too much at your disposal and nothing was very well differentiated. It also inevitably resulted in players discovering overpowered mechanics and exploiting those and only those for the entire game (the steam lightning beam is an example of this).

Well, it sounds like he applied for a bunch of accounts and all those accounts were related in some manner and threaded back to his original one.

I still can't belive he puts Portland, OR on his accounts. Its the same thing that got him caught selling the DOTA2 keys on Ebay in the first place.
