how are you so sure that he fired on protestors? what if he was tortured or killed because he is from a different sect than the members of the terrorist militia?

These types of stories confirms fears that the absence of Bashar al-Assad wouldn't necessarily be a windfall for the Syrian people. I don't have much sympathy for the guys torturing this guy. That doesn't mean I want them to get tortured or die.
