Who can blame them after that debate.

I don't think it would be close, but republicans always fall in line. Yuck.
The only racism that exists is reverse racism.
At the expense of losing moderates and independents in huge numbers.I don't think it would be close, but republicans always fall in line. Yuck.
And anti-Evangelical bigotry.
What's the primary after Florida? If Jeb endorses Romney I think it will signal the winding down of the primary season.
He also says Romney should disclose his income tax records during the Florida contest, calling Romney’s riches “a wonderful success story.”

Jeb isn't endorsing.

And that's the popular vote. The electoral college would be an even bigger spread.
Bain attacks helped Gingrich grab the low-income bracket.

Santorum's not-victory speech had a large focus on the same voters. Will be interesting to see how they split in the next primaries. It looked like Santorum debuted a new populist, help those who need it, message today. His campaign probably recognizes that's where Romney and potentially Gingrich have weaknesses that he can exploit.
I want to meet the 1% of Romney supporters who would not support Romney if he were the candidate.
Are they allowed outside unattended.
I just hope Santorum drops out soon. Come on, guy. You don't have a chance.
My long-standing belief that Obama is the Democratic Reagan would really be driven home if he had his own version of the '84 election.

Is this a really horrible infographic or am I just reading it wrong? The question says, "If Romney wins the nomination, would you:" then they have columns for each candidate. So is this chart telling me that Romney is only 56% sure he'd enthusiastically support himself, and Gingrinch is 50% sure he'd support Romney with reservations?

Good point but a lot of 40+ yo moderates won't notice.

“If tonight proved one thing, it's that the central rationale of Mitt Romney’s campaign is cratering. He came into South Carolina with a 20 point lead - a state where jobs and the economy is the number one issue - and the candidate who hung his entire candidacy on these issues, Mitt Romney, saw his support collapse.
“Why? Because Mitt Romney's been exposed as being out of touch with the middle class, and voters are seeing that he lives by another set of rules. He’s refused to level with voters, and now he’s in trouble. Anyone who goes into a state with a significant double digit lead yet ends up losing that support in a week, is someone who is failing to connect.
blah blah blah

Wow. So like 20% of the GOP electorate in SC would not vote for Romney in the general if he wins the nomination? That is a bigger anti-Mormon bias than I thought.
Of course that could change .. . when it comes down to Obama v. Romney their Obama hate could get them change their minds.
I just hope Santorum drops out soon. Come on, guy. You don't have a chance.
The fact that those types of argument can be effective in a South Carolina Republican primary got to scare conservative strategists.Bain attacks helped Gingrich grab the low-income bracket.

So can we officially thank Jon King for handing Gingrich the victory?
We had similar numbers like this from Hillary voters when asked about Obama winning; they fell in line, and those divides were even more bitter. I don't buy into these kinds of questions at this stage in the game.

Fox News already said as much.So can we officially thank Jon King for handing Gingrich the victory?
Did CNNs John King swing the South Carolina primary to Newt Gingrich?
Thats what several Fox News analysts said on Saturday, including former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, who said that Gingrich should take King out to a steak dinner for his tough questioning during Thursday night's debate.
King opened CNNs candidates debate by asking Gingrich a controversial question about an interview ABC conducted with his ex-wife Marianne in which she said the former Speaker wanted an open marriage.
Gingrich then attacked King, calling his second wifes claim trash and saying he was appalled that King would open a presidential debate with such a question.
Gingrich went on to have another strong debate, and attacking the media has long been a specialty of his.
In his victory speech after his win in South Carolina on Saturday, he took another opportunity to say the media elite was out of touch with the American people.
But it was King's question and the debate that Fox analysts argued swung the vote since a large number of voters were still undecided.
Taking on the media is always good in a Republican primary, Fox analyst Karl Rove said. John King couldnt have set up the question in a more positive way for Gingrich to just nail it and haul it right out of the park.
Newt Gingrich can't possibly win the Republic nomination right? RIGHT?!?!?!??!?!?! What in the fuck is this world coming to.
Paul will do really lousy in Florida. Iowa, NH, and SC were all 'open' contests that allowed independents to vote. Florida is Republicans only. So in a pure GOP only contest, Paul loses a lot of support.Call me crazy, but I don't think Paul is going to do well in Florida. He's basically going to skip it and focus on smaller states.
This shit is hilarious isn't it?
If Newt wins the nomination, champagne corks will be popping in the oval office because Obama can go ahead and pencil in 4 more years. Newt has zero appeal to people like me - moderates, centrists, and independents. I think it'll be a worse ass whipping than what McKain got in 08.
True that. An extra four points goes a long way.And that's the popular vote. The electoral college would be an even bigger spread.
So far we have
Santorum 1(Iowa)
Romney 1 (NH)
Newt 1 (SC)
Ron Paul 0
What more could the democrats ask for? If Newt wins FL, it's panic mode for Romney.
Media consipiracy to undermine the GOP confirmed.Fox News already said as much.
Karl Rove knows sports!Karl Rove said:"just nail it and haul it right out of the park."
Newt isnt Reagan.
Any latest poll numbers for FL?
