It's more like 10 minutes of a kickass action show interspersed with 80 minutes of weaponized boredom.

Space pirates is the least yuri, but megane girl is basically the protagonist's magical girlfriend. The other two are pretty damn (faux) yuri... and BRS seems to be super yuri. I'm just saying, before this season, it was just Simoun. This season, we have 4 of these kinds of shows.

I think saying that is kind of a stretch. You've got a scale there which stretched from girls being friends all the way to 'super yuri'. I doubt that anyone of them come close to Simoun either considering that show has actual yuri, as well as other things which there isn't even slang for (yet)!

Also, BRS aint a mecha show.

The OP's gone from god tier to dog tier. Other than that, great hair ep. Bit edgy about the fact that we're halfway through the manga with 15 eps down, 11 (?) to go.

Also I had no idea there was a Mirai Nikki visual novel. Apparently it came out in early 2010, but then I found this website and it looks like they're remaking/re-releasing it. If 4/26 is the release date it'll be about when the anime ends.

cajun, Blue Drop was pretty boring slice-of-life. I think the manga supposedly gets more into the "lesbian space aliens invade the Earth" premise, but I've never read it.

I love allegories for friendship, but you just told me it was a lie! How can I ever trust you again?!

I already know a show like that and its called Stratos 4.

Once again a good episode. The fight felt more comedic than anything else to me though.
The whole being scared of the legend, without telling what this legend is to the watcher was a bit annoying, but I guess the ending takes a bit care of that.

FWIW, I was all freaked out about Touga & Akio being minor characters in Crest of the Stars at the time that I watched that, too.

Utena later developed a passion for Go and Reinhard overthrew an empire to protect Luna.

I'm guessing Gasai Yuno had a twin, and the twin is the crazy one we see now aka not the real Gasai Yuno. They probably kept her confined in their mansion. The non-crazy Yuno was probably the one that promised to marry Yukiteru. She probably told her twin about it and him, and the crazy twin became obsessed with him. The third skeleton we saw was probably Gasai Yuno.

Yukiteru's Future Diary predicts based on his assumptions, so it would still say Gasai Yuno for the crazy twin even if it isn't really Gasai Yuno.

I just started watching Chihayafuru and this is the saddest thing ever. I could never have predicted how much I would be enjoying it, but it's now (retroactively) my favorite Fall '11 series.

It's all because you didn't buy the official Chihayafuru karuta cards.

Rinne no Lagrange 2 makes me zzz and I haven't been keeping up with anything, not even Nise. Only thing I look forward to now is Chihayafuru.

I have no fuckin clue what is going on, but it is badass as hell. Maybe I shouldn't have made this my first entry into the Mazinger franchise.

Despite the deliberately misleading first episode this show actually goes around explaining everything you need to know regarding the series, so it's a fine starting point.

As for the other shows - there's power of friendship stuff like the Precure shows and then there's the faux-yuri of these shows. Symphogear has a clear triangle and Lagrange is basically Eureka 7 with two girls. I'd bet on Space Pirates going the HomuHomu route too.
