Really interesting to watch EG bait out Prophet picks in this group stage, they're very confident that they can crush the hero by outpushing him and setting up ungankable lanes. Impressive!

Milkman, need to change your name to Daddy Fat Stax.

Well, last night I decided to just give Tinker a try, and did decent. Still lost in the end, since Blood Seeker got crazy fed near the end (31 out of 59 kills). It looked like we would be ok when we took down BS, even with 2 pars of Rax down with me around we clean up and push the lanes down fast, but then BS buys back, picks up BoT, shows back up in the same place we were fighting, and half our team is dead.

How do you all build Tinker? I just got early BoT, then got Shivas, Followed by Sheep Stick, and i wasn't to sure of what else to get. I just picked up a gem to see Riki in the end, and somewhere near the start grabbed a Magic Wand and a bottle, but I felt that at times I just didn't have to much team fight presence. I also think my own timings screwed me over far to much, I need to get used to the 1 second rearm time and not cancel it by mistake. So much wasted mana.

For skill order, I just went Missile Laser Missile Laser Missile Laser Missile Laser, I was in a side lane without to great of farm, so I just decided to not grab Rearm till I got my BoT (about level 9) since I wouldn't have the mana to make use of it in lane (Sure, I could make use of TP scrolls, but I that would burn cash fast). The only issue I had was then I didn't have March of the Machines up right when I had BoT, but team fights were afoot at the time so that wasn't a major issue, but we were able to stop Bloodseakers early game farm (Until he just ate all my Team Mates the rest of the game)

I would guess the Sheepstick's utility would far precede the Shiva's Guard's, especially with a huge rightclick hero like a farmed Bloodseeker on the field (sheep him, rearm, sheep him again, kill his team while he's useless).

You want mid. You need mid. You want and need rune control. Skill laser first, it can destroy a lot of people in lane(it shuts down a bloodseeker mid pretty well if you have good rune control, since the 2 second blind stops him from healing), and you want to be really aggressive. You can kill most squishy agi/int carries from about level 3.

Items, you want BoT, then Sheep, then it doesn't matter what you buy, shivas is good, manta is good(unless theres an earthshaker), orchid is good, bloodstone is good, dagon is good.

Farming as you'll know is super easy with tinker, just march of the machines rearm march.

A gank should go Sheep > Laser > rockets > rearm > Sheep etc Dagon after every laser and march if theres more than two enemies. Stack march in teamfights, it does a lot of physical damage.

TINKER, DAT FAKKIN SOUL RING

Think about it man!

starting items->bottle(I think rune control is still important)->travels->emo ring->shivas (I prefer this first mostly, gives even more leverage)/sheep npnp

oh ye, and laser is pure damage in case you didn't know (no -25% damage from hero resistance)

Why Soul Ring?

Sure. It makes rearm "free" at level 1 but you'll lose out on level 2 and 3. Assuming you go back to base fairly often with Boots of Travel and keep that bottle full, I don't see the necessity of SR

Soul ring is recommended by a number of people, but personally I think it can be skipped, the amount of mana is pitiful, it doesn't even cover half of rearm.

Soul ring covers the cost of rearm level 1 and that's pretty much the reason to get it, it can save fountains trips and gives you the ability to farm a lot faster. You won't max rearm for a long time anyway.
And in case a team fight, or even better a stalemate, you can stay a lot longer and just spam missiles and shit.
There's many good reasons why most good (tinker) players get it nowdays.
Laser > Rocket > rearm > bottle > tp

You really shouldn't have an empty bottle as tinker.

One of the main problems with that is that there's gonna be a lot more fountain trips.
Minimizing down time is the shit.

But level 4 rockets uses more mana than what you get from the Soul ring. The thing is worthless past level 7, AND it's 800 gold you could have spent on anything else.

Still gives more leverage. Compare it to AM, bfury isn't the optimal first item to get on him for team fights, however it's an investment that will pay for itself quickly.

It's not like you will only use your soul ring once every time you tp out of the base if you have rearm and bottle :p

I have never tried soul ring on tinker before, but I must say that I agree with ksan and I'll probably try soul ring next time I play tinker.

Lich isn't OP, he's just a great teamfight and laning hero. But he's one of the most beast supports and babysitters for Antimage, and frost armor helps his physical weakness. And Swag is the tryhardiest of all tryhards.

Not sure why I always try to outcarry you guys when you choose Antimage though, I'm going to start telling my team to do all-in push strats.

Yeah I understand he's pretty good early game cause of his ability to deny and the effectiveness of frost nova. But yeah his ult is killer in team fights when landed properly but that seems about it during the late game. Yeah frost armor is rather useful I suppose.

Nah I think you and your crew take the cake, Drums BH combined with Roaming NS, and picking your favorite heroes over and over, at least I just take it casually!

Yo! I haven't chosen Nightstalker in weeks! :D Besides, BH/NS is nowhere near as bad as Lich/Tide/AM. Not that I actually care since it's an AP inhouse.

Oh, this reminds me, does the Sheep Stick effect get canceled if I refresh before it wears out? I swear a few times BS wasn't a sheep long enough.

No, but it wont last long enough for you to get a laser, rocket and rearm up, you need to choose between keeping them sheeped or getting your combo off.

Nope your doing it all wrong, pick 3 carry strat that includes Doombringer. Void and Doom combo is pretty strong.

Some weird glitches I've had the past two days (maybe six games?) If I grabbed a haste rune, an invis rune would immediately appear.

I also got rewarded a kill when the tower landed the last four hits (I had already died, as Tinker lol).

Few games where an AM would die after blinking (unless I've been missing the memo on Purge doing poison damage)

Is there an easy way to get in-game replays of the matches between the big teams that get casted or is it just VODs of the games?
