The Arbiter got screwed over because he got all 2 Flood and 2 Heretic levels. Uprising and The Great Journey were both very enjoyable, though.
So Master Chief is answering the call, once more.
Kind of hoped for a closure with Bungie...
Well if this is a legit leak. What do you think of the gun model?
Is it a br or dmr? 3 burst or single shot?
Also anything in the books describe those lights in the sky?

Why would you hope for a great series to die? And have you lived under a rock or something?
e3 in june.
I think we'll a least get a mag reveal before then, if not gameplay footage. Right?
Look at the Reach timeline, what I remember of it anyway, there was plenty seen before E3.
343 Industries are not Bungie, so we can't really say what kind of pattern they have of releasing info after they release Halo 4.I think we'll a least get a mag reveal before then, if not gameplay footage. Right?

but that was bungie, this time its all in frankies hands.
and most of the reach stuff before e3 was because of the mp beta.
Well looking back, Bungie had a pretty set standard of releasing info.I think it was MS that control the flow of info not Bungie.

Naw, if you look real close, you can see teh butt secks happening on one of the mountain sides. What is this? GameFaqs?
Halo, as a franchise, is not eminent.
The [original] Halo trilogy, developed by Bungie, will for always be a prominent part of gaming history, but what can 343 carry out, in comparison?
Halo would have attained legend status, had it died with Bungie's au revoir to the first-person shooter genre.
I fucking hate the Arbiter gameplay parts. Mainly because of the Flood. Fighting against Flood in Halo 2 was so bad and frustating. But the story aspect of his missions were freakin' awesome and his last mission(except the fight against Tartarus) was pretty good.I was genuinely shocked when I finished Halo 2, got on the B.net forums, and found out that so many people were hating on the Arbiter. His missions were my favorites over all, and I thought his narrative was a great addition to the fiction.

Considering the game is set to be released in the fall of this year, I was expecting at least another teaser trailer, but no theres been nothing. Whats going on frankie???

The Arbiter perspective was the best thing that happened in Halo2. It massively fleshed out the overall universe.
Dudebros missed playing Masterchief though, or something; they want Halo to have the same story depth as CoD or something.
What makes you think this? Also i still don't buy the argument that COD killed halo because i think most players bought halo for the SP. The fact that we haven't had a proper halo game with the chief for like 5 years is what has slowed the series down.
Not eminent? Please.
And don't roll out 343i as a developer just because you're unsure of them. I personally think they did a great job with Halo: CEA.
Halo Wars and ODST would be the explanation.
I assumed that was the reason that bungie made the changes they did but i never saw the supposed backlash. Halo 2 sold very well on the back of strong word of mouth and judging by the sales of halo 3 there was no backlash at all. Bungie should have stuck to their guns instead of just ruining the story which was one of the big things that set the game apart.

What makes you think this?
It partially did, irrefutably.
Because the amount of people playing halo 3 online stayed really strong for years and halo 3 had very impressive legs (both even after COD blew up).
I mean since halo 3 all we have had is halo wars, ODST and reach (a mainline halo with no master chief). Bungie/MS dropped the ball big time on this because they seemed to forget that the chief not the halo name is what brought people to the franchise.
There is no way for me to prove this because either way the series popularity has dropped off. I think after halo 4 we will start seeing halos popularity rising again somewhat.
Halo 3 remained the "chief" of XBL up to Modern Warfare 2, and that's where Call of Duty exploded, hastily gaining on Halo.
Halo Wars was a good RTS on consoles and ODST had the best atmosphere and was made by a small team at Bungie.
Halo Wars is not worthy of carrying the name of Halo.

He said "really strong" not "on top." Halo 3 did have a strong population up until Reach came out.
