My star rating for Raw is based on the number of times Kong/Kharma came out to the ring. I missed Raw this evening. Guys, tell me it was a nonzero rated show this time, please.

Well this Raw was surprising and entertaining.

I give it a two cards up.
Out of a 40 card deck? Daaaaaaaamn.

Fuckin' hell.

I just saw that
Mike Tyson
will be inducted into the WWE HOF. As much I hate to see it/admit it, it appears that
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
will be inducted in the near future.

I put spoiler tags in case any gaffer didn't know about this yet. Feel free to correct me if warranted.

you know what I think is pretty stupid?

wrestlers wearing the wrestling gear during promo's.

Why the hell didnt D Bryan and Punk wear pants during the opening promo? your standing there giving a 15 minute promo about how great both of you are in your underpants.... Put some pants on.

Huh? Punk was wearing shorts, like he usually does when he's not in full wrestling gear.

Their street clothes are basically just John Cena's wrestling gear.

I only mind when they're not scheduled to wrestle. Other than that, they're just in uniform for their job.

YEAS

fuck you, you sell out. The real voice of the voiceless is back, Company man punk can go suck off Mr. H's more. We got our hero back

Punk parlayed a good storyline and a hot crowd into pushing himself to the top of the company.

Jericho has tried to use his wrestling career to:
-Launch a cover band, later evolving into a C-level metal band
-Get a job with Entertainment Tonight + Vh1
-Dance with the Stars
-Host a crappy game show
-Cameo in an SNL movie

Who's the sellout?

I guess.

Really its the current domination of trunks thats the problem.

if more male wrestlers had full length tights it wouldn't be as big of a deal but only 2 or 3 do now.

I wounder if its a weird company rule that everyone has to wear trunks.

Only jobbers like Trent Barretta, Heath Slater, Sin Cara, Primo and Epico wear tights.

Raw was a great show. Awesome Bryan vs Punk match and the other matchups weren't bad either. Even Cole started to respect Bryan by the end of the match. Only thing I fast forwarded through was the Rock promo, since I already saw it at the Rumble and the diva match. They also kept me locked in waiting to see what happened during the Laurinitus firing angle. Bonus points for not having Swagger/Mahal/Hunico/Epico/Primo on the card.

Pretty sure the entire point of that last segment was that HHH didn't want the match and now Taker's looking for someone else.

Taker looking is not a great storyline IMO. Why would be wont to put his steak on the line? Hopefully they change things up in coming weeks.

the only ending i will ever accept for the taker hhh match at mania, is if ALL of taker's previous opponents came to the ring to try to screw him over... but i suppose there will be issues coz how do you clone hbk and hhh to make up for the numbers???

I just saw the HHH/Undertaker thing.

Terrible.

I miss the days when people would yell at people coming out as a surprise.
Not just make it feel like a script. Blahhhhhh

Interesting theory. So we'd get a '94 Rumble finish with run-ins from:

-- Jimmy Snuka
-- Jake Roberts
-- King Kong Bundy
-- Kevin Nash
-- Sid
-- Kane
-- Ric Flair
-- Big Show
-- A-Train
-- Randy Orton
-- Mark Henry
-- Batista
-- Edge
-- Shawn Michaels

Giant Gonzalez and Big Bossman omitted since they are now dead.

I don't understand all the "marking out" when Undertaker came out. In addition to the fact that he did nothing but the standard ten minute walk-out, everyone knew he was returning in the next couple of weeks. It's hardly a surprise

I loved Vegan Society Bryan in his promo against Punk.
The only problem is that it made Punk looked like a tool when he declared he never wanted to be a rolemodel etc.

Punk is a face now, which means he does not push his straight edge life style in people face (not a role model). When he is a heel he does. This is the way his character has worked for the past 10 years - before WWE even got involved.

It doesn't make 100% sense for Steaker to go after a guy who's had one match since the last Wrestlemania. I guess the deal is that he wants to beat HHH harder this time, and not have to get carted away.

Just watched Raw, I thought it was pretty good for the most part but the HHH stuff was dragging on until Taker came out and then it dragged on again when I remembered that his entrance takes 20 minutes and that HHH/Taker 3 was indeed a thing that is happening but oh well i'm just glad to see Taker back even though he probably wont be doing anything until WM or any of the raw shows on the way.

I can see the build up now, HHH will spend each week saying his a business man now and he does paper work backstage and isn't interested in facing Taker. People enter the COO's office and say that he's changed man, that he used to be the greatest superstar in WWE history but now he's just a pencil pusher, slowly it eats away at trips, some new jobber enters one night and says "HHH, your match against Taker at WM27 was the inspiration for me to become a wrestler (he's a fast learner), best match ever etc", HHH falls back in his chair and wishes to be left alone, he gazes at his wrestling gear in the corner and puts on a blu ray of the best match of all time avialable now on wweshop.com and also for triple the price on euroshop.
The following week Taker comes out and says that he can't find any challengers for WM, he will retire with the streak intact and then suddenly VOCARE AD REGNUM! The Game comes out and steps up to the challenge and the fans cry tears of joy for the greatest match in WM history is set to be topped, eat it HBK!

Cooking with The Understeaker. One of the new reality shows coming to WWE Network.

I'd watch :)

I don't mind Taker-HHH III if that means Johnny stays as the GM since Mr. Hs needs to get personal with the dead man. Its inevitable that Michaels will be the referee. Will he side with his friend or side with his ego? Can he live with himself if his best friend pinned the man he couldn't pin at Wrestlemania? A lot of drama to be played out. With the HBK element, this match is 10 times more interesting.
