Screw waiting. I know we like to make fun of Todd McShay. Here is his 2nd mock draft:

1. IND - Andrew Luck
2. STL - Matt Kalil
3. MIN - Riley Reiff
4. CLE - Robert Griffin
5. TB - Morris Claiborne
6. WAS - Justin Blackmon
7. JAX - Quinton Coples
8. MIA - Melvin Ingram
9. CAR - Michael Brockers
10. BUF - Courtney Upshaw
11. SEA - Trent Richardson
12. KC - Luke Kuechly
13. ARZ - David DeCastro
14. DAL - Janoris Jenkins
15. PHI - Devon Still
16. NYJ - Mark Barron
17. CIN - Dre Kirkpatrick
18. SD - Jonathan Martin
19. CHI - Kendall Wright
20. TEN - Nick Perry
21. CIN - Lamar Miller
22. CLE - Michael Floyd
23. DET - Cordy Glenn
24. PIT - Mike Adams
25. DEN - Ryan Tannehill
26. HOU - Cody Fleener
27. NE - Chandler Jones
28. GB - Ronnell Lewis
29. BAL - Vontaze Burfict
30. SF - Alfonzo Dennard
31. NYG - Dwayne Allen
32. NE - Brandon Thompson

Cincy sure scored thanks to Mark Davis' stupidity. Not that Palmer is a bad QB, and I think we will get at least a couple good years from him, but mother of fuck.

25. DEN - Ryan Tannehill
I would laugh.

I would laugh too, but it's not going to happen. Even with the lack of QBs I still think Tannehill is a reach in the first round even late first round. This pick would be better used to shore up the defense in my opinion.

Yeah I didn't see anything really special about that guy this last season. A&M really favors the ground game too so it's not like he really carried that team on his back or anything.

Tannehill will not last past #20. He's the clear #3 QB and someone will fall in love with him and move up. He does have potential, but he absolutely has to sit for a year

Despite the optimistic words of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, the league isn’t certain that the city of St. Louis will allow the Rams to play in London next season.

The league has suspended ticket sales for the game in Wembley Stadium with that in mind, according to the Associated Press. NFL UK said in a statement on their website they expect ticket sales to resume soon. The Rams “have expressed optimism that a resolution is near.”

The use of the word “resume” indicates that tickets were available. We wrote two days ago that there was confusion about when the tickets would go on sale, and that ticket sales were delayed.

These are strange times for the Rams. Goodell gave a very tepid endorsement of the team’s future in St. Louis when asked on Friday.

“We want to keep our franchises where they are, so we’d love to have the St. Louis Rams stay in St. Louis,” Goodell said.

The Commissioner was asked if the terms of the Rams’ lease in St. Louis were realistic.

“Well, that’s what they agreed to, both the representatives of St. Louis and the team, when the team relocated back into the St. Louis market in the mid-’90s,” he said.

The London game issue looks like a separate matter, but it’s all part of the same problem. The city of St. Louis and the Rams organization are not seeing eye to eye.

There's going to be a game. Even if it's not the Rams, the Jags have already said they'll go. Just sell the tickets with the teams TBA

Possibly. I've seen him as high as pick 6, and others showing him in the 2nd round. Even if he is there at 25, I still think you go defense with the pick at least in Denver's case. If you have to sit him for a year, then he is absolutely a reach imo at 25 in this case.

The way I look at it is, if Tebow does well, then it is a wasted pick that high that could have been spent on the defense. If Tebow fails, you still have a guy that needs work and adjustment to the pros, while the holes in the defense remain.

If we stay away from early round QBs, we could be building the defense. Then bring in a late round QB as potential backup to Tebow, and see what happens in the next season. If Tebow fails to improve enough to be the starting guy, bring in the rookie backup and draft a potential franchise guy in the next year. Tannehill is #3 behind Luck and RG3, but only because there isn't much else out there.

How many people are going to buy tickets (and plan hotels/flights) for a game where the teams aren't announced? Maybe when these games first started in London and the idea of an NFL game being played there was more of a novelty, but I'm not so sure of that at this point.

Well we know who didn't get into the Hall.

Tim Brown @81TimBrown
Raider nation!! Don't bother to watch tonight they passed on me again!! In fact, no wrs made it again. Gotta get some of y'all in there!!

I think Pats take it this time, but it will be a close one. Still mad over that niner loss. :(

I am not rooting for anyone, though. First time in a while I haven't had any cares about the victor. It will be weird if Eli has more titles than big brother.

So how are Superbowl rings handed out anyways.

People on IR all year get a ring, practice squad, people who were cut during the season?

I always wondered were they drew the line

Whoever they want iirc. Edgerrin James and Mike Vanderjagt (I think) were given Super Bowl rings the year after they left.

From the wikipedia, so it's true:

The NFL pays for the cost of 150 rings to the winning team, at roughly $5,000 apiece, depending upon the fluctuating cost of gold and diamonds. The winning team can typically present rings to whomever they choose, including usually, but not limited to: players (active roster or injured), coaches, trainers, executives, personnel, and general staff. Some teams have also been known to give rings to former players, despite not having been on the winning roster.[2][3] Sometimes a team will give rings to fans as part of a charity raffle. [4] Teams can distribute any number of rings, but must pay for any over the 150-ring limit.

Curtis Martin is not a Hall of Famer. Was very good with a lengthy career, but I don't remember ever thinking "oh shit we gotta stop him or we'll lose". For skill position guys, I think that's a good litmus test. Tim Brown definitely needs to be in. They've gotta clear the WR logjam

edit: Doleman definitely deserves HoF, but not over Haley. Curtis Martin really bugs me. If he had played in KC and Phoenix instead of Boston and New York, he would have never had a prayer

This is the first time in years that I care more about booze and wings than the match up. At least the first time the Giants were a Cinderella team going into the SB. This is just...whatever.

I just want this shit over so we can see if the Colts release Manning on Tuesday or so. If his arm strength gets back up to snuff, I think Cards have the best chance of attaining him out of everyone. Insta-SB contenders overnight.
