Thank you that's brilliant, that is exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to play a three year old game on my new system

For those worrying about Fifa, this 3 minute video looks spot on to me. I know it's only one but I'm sure the game will be fine. Plus it looks great.

EDIT: I don't know if this is the same video as you are already looking at but it looked the same. The first slow down looks like it occurs at about 2 minutes in. I don't know if it's just me, but watch the thumb on the left of the screen. I think it also suffers from slow down. It also looks the same every other time there is slow down. maybe its just me seeing something that isn't there but I've seen loads of videos of Fifa looking perfect.
I'm fairly comfortable that it's a camera/video thing and not a Fifa thing. But someone else with a keen eye please look for me.

I'm exactly the same. Finally a second stick for MHFU.Thank you that's brilliant, that is exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to play a three year old game on my new system![]()
Does the vita version of fifa have manual controls? That's my only concern. Hate playing the game assisted, if not then I'll pass.
It does. All the added controls can be turned off to have a strictly 'Dualshock 3' experience.
Yes.Are the monster hunter games any good?
No idea, but last night I had a dream that XSEED announced they were localizing it.Any word on if Ragnarok Odyssey is hitting stateside? That game looks really awesome.
I've been spending all day counting up Vita and PSP digital game download sizes in an attempt to decide between the 16gb or 32gb cards. I still have no clue which is more practical to get with my library and what I intend to have downloaded in the future. I'm also still unsure of what to pick up immediately besides Lumines. UMVC3, NGS+, Rayman, and Golden Abyss look great but would be guilty purchases. I'm surely nabbing other games like Shinobido 2, WipEout 2048, DW NEXT, Virtua Tennis 4, etc. after launch.

The inky black levels on the PS Vita OLED screen is really amazing. Because of this and the lush colors movies will also look absolutely brillant!I posted this earlier. This video is right up your alley.
Amazon/US is having a lightning deal on Lumines: Electronic Symphony. A whole $2.00 off. YaY???
For anyone wanting a good screen protector before launch, try http://www.barrierchief.com - looks legit! I ordered mine yesterday.

It looks fine, but what is the best just front screen protector hori, skinomi, sony, and barrier. Out of those what would you pick? For anyone wanting a good screen protector before launch, try http://www.barrierchief.com - looks legit! I ordered mine yesterday.
Application method, watch the videos of the 3DS or Vita screen protectors being applied, they have you tape it to the sides then pull an underlayer out from underneath to make application easier. Otherwise they seem to cover the same amount of space on the front, but the Hori method combined with the other stuff on front beyond the screen to worry about make that the one I'd go to.Besides the back cover, how does this differ from the Hori screen protector?
Unless you planned to get everything digitally I'd think just sticking with a 4 or maybe 8 GB card and riding out price drops would do the trick. Those memory card prices are the "straw" for me. I'm simply not going to pay that.
Is a screen protector for the back even needed?
Of course it's not like you'll be watching the game from there, so I imagine it's more if you don't want it to look/feel like crap or if it's a non-issue. The fact those barrier screen protectors ALSO cover the back though imply the Sony one will probably still work there. From people who have the Japanese model, the back touch pad gets scratched easier than the front.

That sounds more plausible given I didn't see it under lightning deals, and I had stuff like Disgaea 3 pop up with that discount and Devil Survivor 2 at a $1.50 discount.are you sure that's not in your quick picks?

Just got back from a GameStop, where I got to demo a Vita. Impressions:
+What a beautiful, gigantic screen
+Feels very solid in your hands
+Analog sticks have a great design to them, future dual shock controllers will hopefully incorporate this design
+UI is very slick, very modern, very fast, and miles ahead of Sony's current gen offerings
-Not enough range of motion on the analog sticks, feel inferior to traditional analogs, or even a PSP/3DS style pad
-No comfortable way to hold both the machine and use the sticks simultaneously, my brother and I both ended up having to hold it "pincer style"
-Awkward button placement, especially considering the unusual way we were holding it already
Question, do I need a memory card at all? Or can I save game data on the vita itself?

news to me: Wipeout has an online activation code! What!?!
Some games won't even load if you don't have a memory card. So yes, you'll need one.
Weird, I have big hands and have absolutely no problems with the buttons or the sticks. The only awkward part is when games are using the back panel, since I have my fingers there already.-Not enough range of motion on the analog sticks, feel inferior to traditional analogs, or even a PSP/3DS style pad

I think we can assume any game with online play will have an online pass. Sigh

Haha. No.
I actually agree with him in comparison to the 3DS pad as far as the feel is concerned; I was really bugged by how little effort it took to hit the sides of either of the analog sticks during my playtime with a demo Vita unit. I'm also not a big fan of how small the sticks actually are, too.
They are, however, miles ahead of the PSP nub.

SONY should of made the game boxes even smaller. ALOT of waste to hold that small cart.
