Music sounds good with Party Rock Anthem backing track

and Like a Prayer is aiight. Anyways...weak halftime show but still it's a lot better than that boring shit we got last year and Tom Petty sucks too.

Seriously though, how can you not have a smirk on your face when Madonna entered the stadium on a giant throne with a hundred Greek soldiers surrounding and carrying her.

So fucking silly and over the top.

It is, but I feel like I've seen it a million times from all the Minogues of the world already.

The hate in this thread is so thick I need a knife to cut through it.

That was a great performance. Much better than that shit that was the Black Eyed Peas last year. It was nice to see Madonna focusing on older songs, but I personally would have enjoyed a Confessions songs.

Thanks for quoting that stupid misplaced apostrophe a bunch of times guys.

Just a re-post of my mini facebook-rant:

I see nothing wrong with Madonna's halftime performance... what would people rather see? Try to keep in mind all the demographics that have to be appeased, the necessity for the artist to be recognizable by people of all ages, A need to avoid controversial artists, and the requirement that the musician makes mind-numbingly pop-ish music so that you don't depress a stadium full of 90,000 people trying to have a good time. After considering what the NFL has to, who could realistically go on that stage and be a hands-down better choice?

It wasn't Radiohead or some shit so they're salty.

Prince Halftime is Best Halftime.

But seriously, I didn't have a problem with Madonna's halftime show, but outside of the entrance it wasn't great. Her energy wasn't there. There's nothing wrong with having a lot of flash in a performance. But when your energy isn't matching all the dancers and acrobatics and pyrotechnics, it just all starts to look like a bandaid.
