I can't hate Tom Brady. I just can't.
Holmes never quit. He got int arguments with the OC and wanted to spread the ball around. Nearly every pass Sanchez threw this year was high and off target, every play call was a short slant or a pass to LT. If Holmes never quit he always wanted to win.
Was he the best choice for Captain...no.
But he was not the reason for the locker room problems.

I actually felt like Brady played better than Manning, but Manning's receivers didn't drop easy catches and made some unbelievable catches. Which, you know, makes Manning look a whole hell of a lot better.

What a crazy ending, I am pleased at the results. But that final drive was not on Brady, those receivers blew it.
Congrats to the Giants, its nice to see that the most balanced teams still win championships. Its funny that all the talk at the start of the season were about the stinkin Jets, as always they will be #2, the dumb stepchild as the Giants are the one true team of New York.

While the Giants were good in a lot of areas, they were still dead last in rushing.
Manning also didn't throw interceptions.

Brady threw one and at least part of the blame falls on Gronkowski. Manning's receivers were catching fucking everything. It didn't matter the degree of difficulty or how badly he threw it.
Brady had a couple of truly great drives during a stretch where he was lights out, but Manning was far more consistent from start to finish and, more importantly, didn't make the really big mistakes that Brady did like the interception and the safety.
Top tier quarterbacking from both sides, though.

I'm really upset right now. Have never been more sad/ angry at something in my life (that I have no impact on really besides death, sickness etc.)....
I dunno what to do anymore. I thought Tom Brady would win. I thought I would be lucky enough to see that. I haven't seen Tom Brady win a SB since I was like 9 or 10. I barely paid attention then. Fuck. I don't know what to do with my life. A lot people say it's just a game, but I feel like it's more than that to me. I will wake up tomorrow and continue my life as normal but boy has my perspective changed. To be the best, it doesn't come easy. I guess growing up around Tommy winning so much, then the amazing 2007 season made me feel like it was just so possible to win. I knew, like on paper Giants should win. They are the Patriots kryptonite. The pass rush for Brady, the the receivers for our shit defense.
Good luck to all the Patriots players. On Brandon Spikes twitter he said he was feeling suicidal. The Pats aren't the giants where they can be barely in contention one moment, and then Super Bowl champs the next. Patriots players need to win every game. And fuck, the most important one they fuck up on. But you could tell in the body language. The Pats were under a lot of pressure. They weren't having fun. The Giants were going out there to have a good time, and of course to win. The Patriots were just going out there to win. They cracked under the pressure. Especially the defense, but even the offense. Eli is so god damn clutch. Welker is the opposite. And Tom Brady is a god damn smart quarterback, but he needs some proper receivers.
Eli Manning has my full respect. He outplayed Brady when it mattered most. Belichick was out coached. Respect to coughlin. Respect to the giants organization. But seriously I fucking hate the Giants.
