In that case you are g2g. Just need to make Japanese account (plenty of guides on the Internet), and buy points card for Japanese PSS.
Finally decided to wait with buying a PlayStation Vita until Christmas.![]()
Quick update, not sure if this was posted earlier...
Downloading Peace Walker to the PS3 and then transferring it to the PS Vita seems to work. It's copying right now. I'll post an update when its done copying
And last update...
Peace walker works fine. So even if the game is not on the Vita store, it should work.
I think this is basically a case of the PSN Vita store not being completely updated as anyone who still wants the game can buy it on their PS3/PC and simply transfer it over.
Awesome news. Assumed the import system owners tried this last night but it's a possibility they did and this is a roadblock with Japanese Vitas accessing content off US profiles or transferring from US PS3s.Quick update, not sure if this was posted earlier...

What do you mean? Every PSP game that could work on PSV must be on PSN, so just being there doesn't indicate if it'll work does it?
It sounds as if there's hope I can have Gradius Collection on my Vita. All is well. Maybe.
Oh, my mistake, excellent news. I'd love Tetris to work, but I'm not holding my breath, EA don't even allow it to be played on PS3, I'm guessing that'll go for PSV too.FFIV is already on the PSV PSP store apparently, according to the list is what he means. Thank goodness, because that and Tactics Ogre are two PSP games that I have to get.
Just to clarify: dies Sears Canada currently have the vita on shelves now?
Haven't heard from anyone that's placed an order there about it shipping out. Yet anyway. They're certainly baiting for attention with that "In Stock" status for their Wi-Fi units. If any online retailer is going to be oblivious about street dates, Sears.ca seems highly likely.Just to clarify: dies Sears Canada currently have the vita on shelves now?
I'm actually quite curious about this. Has anyone compared the speed of memory card loading to game card loading?
Quick question. Is this the Canadian FEB bundle you got a week early or is it the regular WiFi model you got 2 weeks early? If it is the feb, can you post pictures/impressions of the case?
Yeah, they've certainly got my attention. With the broken street date... I wonder if they'll start popping up in stores this week. If they do, I'm calling a few Canadian friends of mine.Haven't heard from anyone that's placed an order there about it shipping out. Yet anyway. As for it being on physical "store shelves" nobody has reported that yet.
Vita Wifi just arrived from Amazon.ca, yay for broken street dates!
amazon shipped the regular wifi version due out on the 22nd, not the first edition bundle.... Aaaaand I'm now jealous. Ok, First, Canada gets to buy all available games early from Gamestop/EBGames. Now, Amazon.ca ships out Vita units. What the F... Although.... I guess the FEB people in Canada really do get their excessive money's worth. To that I say, congratulations, on the flip side, I temporarily dislike my current residency.
2012/02/09 08:46 CALGARY Item out for delivery
i'm very giddy right now!

Damnitt my Gamestop doesnt have it in yet fuck I want this thing early.
Hmm, I didn't realize so many games were not compatible with the Vita. I'm really disappointed that Dracula X Chronicles isn't available. That was one of my most played games. No EXIT, no Killzone, no Thexder Neo, no Gradius Collection, no Megaman Powered Up, no Darius Burst (though that was never available in the US to begin with).
At least it appears Megaman X and Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins will work.
Of course, I'm still not sure how these games will look on the Vita screen. The upscaling artifacts may remove my interest in this feature anyways (plus I still have three PSP systems). Still, the fast refresh rate and great contrast of the OLED screen seems like it would be awesome for some of those games. I think 2D games would look especially nice.
Amazon.ca sent out the regular Wi-Fi two weeks early.
Lumines (£5.96)
Rayman Origins (£5.96)
Is there a consensus on which case is best?
I was just going to get the official travel pouch one, but if someone can recommend me something better, I'm all ears.
dammit.
Canada getting everything.
Free Uncharted with the FEB at Best Buy
Now two weeks early on the WiFi unit.
....argh. Well that's cool at least someone got it.
How are you getting these games so cheap? Do you have store credit somewhere?
I've never played a Lumines game. Is it worth buying at launch or should I wait for a price drop?
Lumines is an incredible game. But I'd be hard-pressed to advocate buying ANY Ubisoft game for any platform at launch given their prolific tendency to pricedrop everything and anything they release 2-3 months later.I've never played a Lumines game. Do you think if we bitch hard enough, they'll put Internet MP into Modnation Racers?
I hate everyone that has a Vita already ;[.
No issue with Gradius Collection. It's just not up on the Vita Store yet. What is the issue with gradius collection?
