Strange, there's a big "HTML 5" logo on the Vita's system features on Sony's website.

Vita and PS3 do support html5. Not the entire evolving set but the basic layout and app support.

Some of the problems may be due to the sites changing their behavior when the user agent string looks different.

Hey...Lunar, Fate/Extra and Trails in the Sky (oh...this is TitS) are compatible.

But really Sony...no Jak & Daxter or Rachet & Clank SM? Really? I hope they're in the next batch.

On top of the added data functionality, the 3G model comes with an 8GB memory card, free PSN game, and BOGO month of AT&T Data Connect service; in other words, the 3G bundle is actually a better deal at this point.

It's not that much better of a deal, it all depends on what you want but hey, we've been over that and Marty has made sure he reminded us of it.

I contacted Amazon.com for the US. The explanation they give for which the Vitas shipped in Canada, which I don't know if I buy, is that the release date for Amazon.ca changed allowing the packages to ship.

Whats the deal with PSP/Vita activation on PS3? Playstation Blog says you can activate two portable devices?

So if me and a friend own a Vita, and I buy a PSN game off my PS3 it could go onto both Vita devices from the PS3? Could split costs on some PSP games if this works!

I don't think I've seen this case posted in this thread: http://www.amazon.com/Digital-PS-Vita-Travel-Protective-Sony/dp/B0073ESYZO/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1328818842&sr=8-16

It looks like exactly what I'm looking for, and at $10 the price is right.

I have a question for any of you that may know.

I sent some games in to Amazon for trade last Saturday, but it says in my trade in account on Amazon that the games are "Not Yet Received/In Transit." There is also a note saying that the items must be shipped by February 9th (that'd be today).

I've never sent anything in to Amazon before, but it's $80 worth of games, and I wanted to use that credit to cut down on my Vita spending.

My question is how long does it normally take for Amazon to receive your shipment? It's been 5 days already. Does it take longer? I'm not terribly concerned about when I'll get the credit, just how long it takes them to get my stuff. I'm getting a little concerned, and I can't find the receipt from the post office to track my order.

I like this case because of it's simplicity. I have the PSVita Travel Pouch pre-ordered. But this case looks much thinner.. Damn something to think about.

Should be any day now. I've traded into amazon on four occasions and it almost always takes them a week.

I'm pretty sure they send you an email too letting you know they're looking at them.

I beileve you'd need to be using one PSN (or SEN) account and you both couldn't play online at the same time.

I'm still on the fence about getting the 3G Launch Bundle. Will the 3G even be worth it? Can I log into PSN via 3G? I wonder why Sony didn't go with 4g, at least you could play video games through 4g. I really don't know if sony will ever release something worth while for the 3G service, but I'm scared that they will, and I'll feel like I won't have the "complete" experience...

Thanks for the response! I always get a bit nervous when I'm sending things through the mail. My concern was that my games were either lost in transit, or stolen. I'll be patient! Hopefully I'll get my credit in enough time to use it on some of my Vita accessories/games I planned on picking up.

Yes you can log into PSN via 3G. Just can't play online or download large files. Which, really, are the two things people would probably expect to be able to do with a device that has internet access anywhere.

4G/LTE chip sets are still in their infancy. They're huge battery drains, and the coverage just isn't there yet.

You can definitely log into PSN. You can even do audio chat, according to a Sony rep I met last week... but I'll believe that when I see it.

Thanks for that link! I had one of the $19.99 ones in my cart, but I don't actually need a large case, since I already carry around the bag I got from my inFAMOUS 2 Collectors Edition (it's actually really useful, since I don't carry much in general). I really just needed something to put my Vita in so it's not in my pocket, or bouncing around unprotected in my shoulder bag. This case is absolutely perfect. I don't need power supply compartments, since I can just throw that stuff in my bag.

I added this to my cart, and will be buying it next Wednesday, when I order my Hori protector and Rayman! Thanks again!

I did. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a Vita 6 days early, though. I'll have to apply my Best Buy deposit towards something else.

Man wish I had known about it. I've been so busy lately I probably missed the post pointing out the shipping date error:(

so is it confirmed that the "2 handhelds" you can have your account on include both vita and psp? so one each? that's pretty weak. i assumed it would be 2 ps3s, 2 psps, and 2 vitas.

Yeah, it's 2 handhelds total. So either 2 PSPs, 2 Vita,s or 1 PSP and 1 Vita.

Interesting, my Amazon order shows "delivery estimate Feb 8th-Feb 15th" for my FEB.

Anyone else showing this? My other items are also "shipping soon".

For what its worth, I had a similar case for my PSP way back when and that design put a lot of pressure on the UMDs and eventually cracked them. I dont know how sturdy Vita carts are but just thought Id mention it.

Just did some PSN shopping. I got Wipeout 2048 and Super Stardust Delta from the Vita list and then grabbed Tactics Ogre: LUCT and the Patapon/Loco Roco bundle from the PSP stuff. Thanks to the $50 PSN credit I got with my Playstation Visa I only paid about $20 for all that stuff.

I also went ahead and downloaded some of my older PSP purchases that I know I'm going to want on the Vita on Day 1. Y's 7 (been waiting on the Vita to finish this one) Dissidia FF, Fate/Unlimited Codes and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops.

Looking at my download list also makes me realize how many PS1 classics I own. Breath of Fire IV, FF 7 & 9, Xenosaga, Blood Omen, Crash Bandicoot 1-3, Suikoden, etc. I hope they hurry up with that PS1 compatibility!

that's fucking weak! i only have 1 psp now and 1 vita, but i have others that are registered. when will sony allow us to deregister old devices? i also have 3 ps3s registered.

Yes you can remote deactivate systems here:

account.qriocity.com/

You can only remote deactivate once every 6 months however so be sure you want to do it.

Also, anything purchased before the change to two licenses can still be used on up to 5 devices.

You already can. Go here.

Log in, go to Account > Media and Devices.

You can deactivate once every 6 months I believe. It will deactivate all your systems though. Just so you know.

Apparently all the PS Minis work on the Vita, it's just some of them need to be downloaded onto the PS3. Makes me feel better about getting it now.

I'm seriously considering changing to the First Edition Bundle because I'm getting impatient. Also the more I think about it, every game I plan on getting I'm going to buy the physical copy and I don't see PSN games like Super Stardust or Escape Plan filling up a 4 gig card anytime soon. What to do, what to do?
