The game is good but not THAT good. The reviewer is kinda biased too since he said himself that his 2011 GOTY was Uncharted 3.

That's not a bias. He's simply stating that Uncharted 3 was his GOTY. If he formerly worked at Naughty Dog or had ties to Bend, that could be considered a bias.

Just because I love the Star Wars franchise doesn't mean that I'm going to love everything under that umbrella. He could have just as easily hated this game.

Anyone else bummed that Amazon is not really dishing out any deals on software or the system like they did with the 3DS release? Of course I wasn't expecting much but after getting $10 credit for every game I bought (I think it was a pre-order thing?), it ultimately made me buy more games.

On a side note: The vita released here in Korea this past Saturday, and despite my undying hype, I couldn't convince myself to spend the extra $100 (seriously it's crazy how they priced that thing over here) to get it early. I'm betting on the local PX (military store) to stock some Vitas come the 22nd, but video game releases there can sometimes be a hit or miss. Ah the joys of living overseas ;_;

Escape Plan for £9.99 eh? If I can't find Golden Abyss anywhere for £30 or less then EP will my first game purchase for the Vita. Unless all goes to according to plan and Gravity Rush still comes out the day after launch. Argh, this shit is making my head spin.

These prices announced are great:

MotorStorm RC will cost £4.79; Escape Plan will cost £9.99;
Super Stardust, Top Darts and Hustle Kings will all cost £6.49.

I hope they sell enough to make Sony realize this is the way to go. Vita will succeed if it has a constant release of smaller quality games on PSN with this kind of prices.

With this prices I will probably get them all... Motorstorm RC is actually a no-brainer. Vita + PS3 game for that price? I will be insane not to buy it.

Read the article, he said he loves Uncharted. Like, love.

Don't get me wrong, the game is good, but as I've said before, don't expect mind-blowing set pieces like U2 and U3. This in Uncharted 1 with a different story and more collectibles to find.

Not that this is bad by any means... but you get the idea.

And well, obviously with the benefits of being Uncharted, in your pocket.

By lowering the cost of games, they can keep the initial price for the device higher (assuming there is some type of demand for it). Hopefully Sony figures this out...

can someone post the scores for those of us not able to view them...spoiler tag if you must for the rest

edit: thanks for those that are

Looks like I was a half point high on UC and Fifa

Wipeout receives a 7 from IGN.

Controversial?

Nah, I think those initial load times are worth lowering the score. They are inexcusable. Once a patch comes though I'm sure the game is more like an 8.0/8.5 on IGN

Also, I had a feeling they were gonna love on Super Stardust.

This is OT, but US is the exception, not Korea. Every country in the world is paying the "extra 100$" except for US.

Has there been any talk of FIFA working in support for PS3<->Vita save game sharing? Are we likely going to have to wait for FIFA 13? It is so frustrating that such a simple feature has been left out. But then again FIFA on consoles still doesn't have online co-op after years of people begging for it.

I remember reading that the 3G version of the US Vita will only be compatible with ATT. What if I buy a US Vita but don't live in the US?

So if I put a different countries SIM card while being in said different country I still won't get 3G?

And the only difference in the 3G version of the Vita is the extra few grams in weight right?

Playstation just said on Twitter that the Vita hits stores tomorrow. All along I thought they said it was coming out on the 15th. That's not tomorrow. I wish we could get it tomorrow!

They mention a lack of game modes for UMVC. I thought it had more options than the PS3 version. Seems like enough content to me.

Lacking the Racebox, which a lot of people aren't happy about. I don't have time to read the reviews at the moment, but if they're complaining about loading and a comparative lack of content then it seems fair enough. Still getting it though.

They said FIFA 13 will be entirely on par with the console versions, but no talk of any sort of save game sharing. Would be great to play with your virtual pro on the go though.

Whoa. What's going on with IGN? Their reviews for Uncharted, ModNation and Super StarDust actually match with what I think about every one of those games.
