We get our raws five days before the Japanese street date.
Wait a minute... so we technically read the newest chapters from the big 3 before the average Joe picks up the latest issue of WSJ? I always thought it comes in japan someone picks up a magazine and scan and translate from there

What sorcery is this?
US Pop music fans, even pre-teen girls, are nothing like that. Timberlake was with Britney Spears while he was still a pre-teen idol, and Bieber has had several girlfriends. It isn't really comparable at all.
I really don't see how the two compare. Asking about pop stars girlfriends/boyfriends seem like a normal thing here.

This arc is going to end with them going public with their relationship and winning back her fans by being brave enough to stand up to the rumors or some other cliche.
Its not exactly a one-to-one with streaming tv shows. With tv shows you just have to worry about it airing once and after that you don't have to worry about audiences watching international versions before yours. And since there aren't many reruns in Japan, the waiting time until streaming sites can air the episode is a matter of hours rather than days.As for the possibility of VIZ getting scans early or whatever, it's certainly possible - companies that license shows for streaming get those episodes early, as proven by the One Pisu fiascos with episodes getting ripped and pirated early - but that's as always back in Shueisha's end as to whether such a thing will happen.
Viz can't release their scans before the Japanese version is even out. So its impossible for them to ever beat the scanlation community. There's no reason they couldn't have up to date scans at most within a day of the faster groups like MS and whoever does MRs
If Viz gets it up to day and date (or even 1-2 days) with Japan, the only people that would complain would legitimately be unpleasable assholes. Its not exactly a one-to-one with streaming tv shows. But with manga the wait time is much longer. Publishers want to sell their magazine throughout the week and even after that for late-readers. In fact, I'm fairly certain that Viz's two week delay is entirely due to this. The Japanese publishers simply have no incentive to endanger their home market to accommodate a bunch of frequent free-riders in an already insignificant US marketplace.
Whether or not Viz gets the scans earlier is a moot point. For all we know they already do! But its not going to change the real obstacle at hand.

The hilarious part about these seiyu-boyfriend scandals is that even pre-teen girls into boy bands like NSYNC and Justin Beiber don't freak out when the object has a significant other.
This is one of those things that don't actually translate well to US audiences, although maybe they can just call themselves Mashiro and Takagi now instead of that dumb pseudonym.
You say cliche like that has been done SO many other times...
This makes sense. At the end of the day my only legitimate complaint is the lack of the series I really want to read (Hunter X Hunter) in the Shonen Jump Alpha lineup. Its not exactly a one-to-one with streaming tv shows. My complaint is that Shonen Jump Alpha isn't available in my country.
Soul Eater
Kid is badass.
Other than that just standard battle shit. Felt meh about the whole chapter. Maybe I should just wait until the manga is over and then marathon it.
WELL YOU THOUGHT WRONG, BUDDY.MangaStream is a scanslator and they constantly delete old chapters from their site. I think they'll be safe.
You mean you aren't saving my romance recommendation posts? Cause I aint doing it again. *folds arms*
Don't be mean.
With the way things are going maybe within a year? Monthly manga are very unpredictable since some months you just get troll chapters with 20ish pages and the pacing goes to hell.Any sign of this actually happening as i might just do the same thing (starting from where i left it).
Now I'm curious.
Did he really... cause MS still has manga and gonna get more =DWELL YOU THOUGHT WRONG, BUDDY.
And what's up with all those mustard analogies, Ignis
oh god the pain
i wonder if mangazone will step their speed up in order to completely fill mangastream's shoes. I want my midnight manga
I think I was banned right around when this occurred. The big thing is that at the time One Manga was relatively unique so them getting shut down was murky territory such that we thought manga was actually going away.
It isn't so much I don't *understand* what happened, it's that I can't actually relate to it because I think it's fucking retarded that Aya Hirano started losing jobs because she had the audacity to have sex with men.Yeah... I really have no frame of reference for what happened in this chapter.
Now I'm curious.

Where is my Justin/Stein fight?
I really like the design of the DS. I loled at rainbow attack. I am glad to see that Kid could control his Sanzo powers. The pacing is really slow right now.
Give me Stein/Justin fight next chapter Ohkubo.
Wasnt Justin defeated in chp 94?
The entire before-street-date thing is a complete non-issue. It has no significance to any discussion ever and I'll explain why.If Viz gets it up to day and date (or even 1-2 days) with Japan, the only people that would complain would legitimately be unpleasable assholes.
it's okTo that end, I'm really enjoying Bonnouji--it's light-hearted story and sugarly sweet characters with cute circumstances all around made me smile all the way through while reading it. So thanks for echothreealpha for that one.
The flaming island is separated/on a lake with a frozen mountain on the other side. Usopp spots a flying dude/birdman. Sanji and co are led into a jail and find a dismembered head. The dismembered head talks. Its a citizen of Wano country. Looks like he came to find his son. He refuses to be acquainted with pirates? (I'm assuming it's Sanji and co who propose they break out together.) Anyway, they bust out of the jail with a Franky beam. Outside of the jail are a bunch of gigantic kids.

Is there any romance in this manga?
I only read a few chapters when it began and stopped to do a marathon catch up later
just wondering if its worth it if you are only into guy gets the girl stuff.
the promise they made at the beginning
Hajime no Ippo - If Itagaki winds up winning this fight I think I'm done with the series for a while. There's absolutely no fucking explanation why he can come back from being slaughtered like that.
Naruto is amusing.
Begins with Karin the interrogation room. She seems infatuated while looking at Sasukes photograph, but since she was almost killed, she tears it up.
Suigetsu and Juugo go to Orochimarus secret base.
Suigetsu finds Orochimarus secret chamber.
He finds a scroll and gets really excited.
A large group of white Zetsu appear before Sasuke.
Sasuke uses a combination of Susanoo and Amaterasu.
One Zetsu flies through magic? He looks fragmented (not sure about that one)
White Zetsu: Its war. Defeat Killer Bee and Uzumaki Naruto. Our forces are rapidly diminishing.
Sasuke is flooded with memories of Naruto.
Sasuke: Im going to your location to cut you down!
Sasuke finishes all the white Zetsu off.
Sasuke and a poem to Itachi.
Itachi is on his way somewhere.
Sasuke returns his katana to its scabbard.
Next week.
Let's see what happens today. It'll be interesting.
Edit: And it seems that MS is making up for their lack of titles by still flexing their "we get shit early" muscles: they just released the "J-Preview" issue which gives detailed and organized spoilers for One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, and Hunter X Hunter (in that order)...including a summary and page-by-page breakdown of events.

That is actually really really pathetic.
