So, is there any word if the psn's older psp titles will get a price cut? Want to get ghost of sparta but its still full price. And that's nuts compared to the disk you can get at the store for like 20 bucks...

fuck why are you here spreading false information? Stop it already, please.

Hawk, you can not play online multiplayer using 3G. it's mostly for web browsing and apps.

Thanks man...it is getting really fucking confusing with people saying different things..so as you can imagine it becomes confusing.

Fuck sony really should have at least packed in a manual for this expensive handheld. Realized it only came with a safety guide and getting started fold out. Hell I didnt even know there was a sim card in my vita until today. Just a heads up, I highly suggest a card bigger than 4gb, my card is looking slim and I only have downloaded 2 demos and played hot shots golf.

Man, today just keeps getting better and better! First, I'm shafted out of the Amazon B2G1 deal, and then, out of curiosity, I check Qriocity (ugh, forgive me for that one...), and I see that I have 5 (five!) PSP's activated!

I've only ever owned 2 PSPs. The first I got about 3 months after the system launched, and it was lost/stolen a few months after that.

The second PSP I got from a friend who didn't want his anymore (he had upgraded to a slim PSP, so he gave me his old phat one). I've never registered this one, because I've never used the PSP online, or bought digital games for it (I always stuck with UMD). I also used it for custom firmware so I could run NES, Genesis, and SNES emulators on it.

I wrote Sony, so hopefully they can deactivate those PSPs. I have no idea where they came from, and the last time I used that site (ages ago), I didn't have any handheld devices registered at all!

I just don't want to be screwed out of downloading the 3 PSP titles I bought last week and putting them on my Vita because I can't activate the device!

What an annoying day off for me...

On the whole, I've loved every game I've purchased for the Vita. I do have to say that there are some issues I have concerns over, but they're mostly minor.

In FIFA, I noticed that during the close ups when the players enter the stadium, there is severe choppiness/slow down. That has no effect on the play since non of it is close up, and the replays are fairly crisp. I'm wondering if that's just an optimization issue, or if it's just that the system can't handle that kind of processing.

In Uncharted, some of the camera angles make control an issue, but that's the game, not the system.

In WipEout, there's obviously the loading time issue, but, I also have control issue with the thumb stick. That's likely a combination of me just sucking at the game, and also with the lack of motion range the sticks can offer.

I have zero complaints with Virtua Tennis.

For the most part, I can't complain about UMvC3, or with Hot Shots Golf.

Overall, I have to say, this experience with the Vita has eclipsed my personal experience with the PSP. I didn't really get into playing the PSP for whatever reason. This system blows it away on every level except for battery life, but, that was to be expected with how much juice it must take to run this system.

You can actually deactivate your PSP via your PC:

My Amazon.co.uk order has updated to processing =) Fifa, Virtua Tennis 4, 8gb memory card, official crystal custom case and Vita Wifi!!! Hopefully it comes Wednesday, will be a great day.

Just checked the lockerz stuff, $16 shipping, so not worth it :( shame as Modnation for just under £14 seemed good!

Just reset your account activations through qriocity, and reactivate them again on your devices.

On their qriocity site you can actually deactivate all of your devices then reactive the ones you have. Log in and click on account at the top, then media and devices. There should be a button on that lets you deactivate all. I think you can only do this once every 6 months.

edit: beaten

Apparently, I'm not that cute.

Reposting for the new page...

Depends on who you ask really. Currently, people seem to like the Barrier Chief for the most part for a screen protector. For cases, people seem to like the Thrustmaster, or the HORI stuff. I have the FEB case, so, I can't really advise you one way or the other.

Waiting on my Vita update so I can actually play again. It finished downloading via Wifi, then an error message popped up, and now I'm redownloading the update...

Go to: http://sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/

Then there will be three tabs at top (Devices, Media, Account).

Go to Account

Then go to Media and Devices on the left hand side.

This will bring up all of the media services under Sony and how many devices are activated for each.

Select the square for Gaming.

Then Deactivate ALL DEVICES

Then log back on the devices you want to use on your account.

NOTE: You can only this once every 6 months.

is the memory card only required for saves? Is 4g enough if I don't plan on buying full games but only carts and ps classics?

Just don't expect to download many demos and if you do you will need to delete them. Also do you plan on purchasing any PSN only titles? Like Super Stardust (200+ MB), Escape Plan (1GB), or etc.? Because that will obviously eat into the card.

4GB will suffice for only saves (Think Joystiq had about a dozen games and the saves totaled to about 250 MB), and the occassional Demo that will need to be deleted later.

Just called my local Target. Hopefully, they have more games in by Wednesday. Really hoping to snag Uncharted, FIFA and (Virtua Tennis 4 or Lumines).

F1 2011 - $40
Rayman Origins - $40
Lumines: Electronic Symphony - FREE
4GB PlayStation Vita Memory Card - FREE (Contacted CS to get added to Vita Preorder)
Uncharted: Golden Abyss - $50
EA Sports FIFA Soccer - $40
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 - FREE
Hot Shots Golf - FREE (Contacted CS to get b2g1 pricematched on Preorder - was refunded)

$24.28 per game + free 4gb card

For people worrying about deleting and then re-downloading.

You can transfer the game back to ps3 instead of deleting, that way you don't have to download it every time. only transfer.

Anyone have a guide I could use to beef up in UMvC3?

I played a little of MvC3 back in release, by really that's my manly slight entry with the series.
