Fucking LOL!

You cannot just spend your way out of trouble though. I agree Arsenal do need some big players but they don't have to come at a big price. Look at Ox, he is a great player and cost what, 12 million? Now I do get what you are saying. I wish Arsenal could compete with other clubs in bringing players like Silva, Mata, Yaya etc in but it can't help Wenger that the guys up top are daft and don't seem to care.

Chamberlain isn't a great player. He's a talent but he wouldn't get into United, City or Spurs' team.

In Arsenal's case, spending will get them out of trouble. What problems do Arsenal have other than having a squad that isn't a title winning squad?

And this.

Errr. No, you can. You are factually in correct. You can't forever interrupt your management team - see Abramovich but I see a football club who were perennial relegation contenders leading the Premiership.

You are singing the same company line about players not needing to be expensive. Very good players, not world class, go for £30m these days. World class is double that and above.

We require upwards of £200m in investment to be able to compete for winning anything of any note. It was £100m in 2009. We can't buy 5-6 more Alex-OC's doing that sort of thing is PRECISELY the reason we are in the deep shit. We need experienced big time players with winning mentality. The price of those players will be £25m+ at the very least.

How do you feel about the manager circumventing RBS's covenant requiring we spend at least 70% of player sales on investing into the team by just paying his players more each season? That is one of the most disgraceful things to have confirmed.

That's quite astonishing. If it's true heads need to roll.

Everytime I watch Coentrao play =

All that money for a left back (who ofc also can play CM). Has he been good lately? Was a couple of months last time I saw him.

That makes no sense to me. Why would he just give middling players pay rises so he doesn't have to spend money on new players?!? The worst part is that Arsenal still aren't able to compete for top players because of the wage structure but they are wasting so much on the shitty players like Djourou who inexplicably got a pay rise instead of the sack.

I really hate when Real or Barca's players surround the ref in order to pressurize him to give a yellow/red for the opponent's player.

I don't like that.

What a surprise, that only means Van Persie is gonna find a way to bail the fuck out this summer.

You can't trash on the only great player you have, you can't. Specially when he wants to leave, specially when he gives it all to a club who doesn't give much back. Aside from money.

Can't spend your way out of trouble? have you looked at league tables recently? just couple of years ago, you would have been laughed at if you suggested city was going to win the league.

Arsenal are no longer a football club. It's just a business playground for folks who want to make money. No club with any sort of ambition would have tolerated this bullshit. certainly not for 7 friggin years.

Look. No body at the club wants to go through managers like chelsea or madrid does. But no body wants staleness and mediocrity either.

I am eagerly looking forward to the chelsea and napoli game.

I want AVB to be given a break but at the same time i want chelsea to be thrashed. Can't make up my mind
