Here is our current apartment living room setup. Apologies for the shit-quality pics-- that's the iPhone 4 for you.
From the entrance way:
To the right is the couch. My wife usually takes the long part and uses her MacBook. There's some pictures that need to be framed and hung up...the wall behind the couch is also completely barren and has a huge amount of space available. I need to find something to put up but still don't know what to go with. Was thinking about a giant photo of a cityscape.
Besta shelving unit:
My main setup. I just recently got the Besta shelf on the left and had to cut holes to run the cables through. It didn't turn out very pretty, but fortunately since everything is black, it's difficult to notice. There's still a bit of a mess of cables that I need to get organized, but before I had that Besta unit, the shelving I was using had no back and the rat's nest in back looked awful, so I think this is a nice improvement. The cable going up the wall leads to an Airport Express.
All my currently-used systems (and the Wii

) are housed here. Shown is an ASUS ML228H 22-Inch Ultra-Slim Widescreen LED Monitor, used as my secondary gaming monitor, because my wife tends to hog the TV! But I like the picture quality so much that I tend to just use it for everything anyway. I cannot recommend this monitor enough...it is input lag-free and colors just pop off the screen.
The TV stand houses a Panasonic TC-L42U25 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz IPS Panel LCD HDTV, cheapo Vizio Soundbar (it gets the job done), Apple TV, and U-Verse box.
A lot of my older systems and games are in "storage" at my folks' place, but I do have a small spare room that I use as well. It has a built-in desk in a wall space, which I use to house my old ASUS 25.5-Inch LCD monitor (which I'm probably going to sell real cheap, as I have a 19-Inch HDTV that needs to go somewhere) and my PS2, PSP, and PSP Go. The Go is hooked up to the TV via its cradle and I can use a PS3 controller with it for use as a mini-console/emulation machine.
More bookshelves, containing all my PS1, PS2, PSP, Game Cube, GBA, DS, 3DS, and Vita games.
Close-up of my desk. The ASUS monitor is Designo Series MS238H, essentially a 23-inch version of the 22-Inch model in my living room. I use an HP Pavilion DM1-Z "Notbook" as my primary PC, since I don't tend to do much other than web-browsing. But it's powerful enough to be able to run 720P and 1080P video smoothly, and can even run games like SSF4 Arcade Edition and Fallout 3.
