You have 48 hrs to sign up. Signing up immediately doesn't increase your chances. Testers are chosen based on development needs. ~RB

The steps for registering are:
1. Download Scannertron (Direct link, Mirror by Haly).
2. Run it, click "Send".
3. You'll be redirected to the next step in the registration process, fill in your details.
4. Get confirmation e-mail. (if it doesn't come for a long time, you can request for a resend here)
5. Hope that you'll get lucky enough to be chosen for the beta.

Another tweet, this time for people with more than one card worrying about the Scannertron results:

If you have more than one HD or graphics card, Scannertron IS indeed sending us the info. It's only displaying one field. ~RB

Scannertron provides us info on both HDDs, but will only display one text field. Don't worry, we are getting all the info. ~RB

If providing gmail address is giving problems:

For people who use gmail

For some reason emails from NCSoft have trouble with gmail addresses.

When you sign up, put yourname@googlemail.com and you'll receive the confirmation immediately.
Use the same address you use for gmail, just type out the word "google" and it'll work.

Yes, it's a diagnostic tool that checks your system specs and sends it to Anet.

It's standalone, it's not installed on your computer.

stupid ass buggy ATI driver still shows my card was a 4850 even tho i'm on a 6850 (certain apps see it as a 4850, but most see it as a 6800 series). hope that won't hurt my chances. tried everything except reinstall windows.

Hope I get in Loved GW1. Bought it on the first day it came out. I never really got into PvP, but i really had some awesome matches in PvP (especially GvG, getting owned by the #1 guild in the world was so awesome).
