The fact that Mari Okada still manages to get work writing anime both amazes and depresses the shit outta me.
In light of recent events I think it's even more remarkable that she managed to not ruin Toradora when given the chance to do so.

But those didn't turn out good.I'm going to guess AnoHana and Gosick turned out good in spite of her involvement, rather than because of it. If BRS is anything to go by, that is.
But those didn't turn out good.

Says the person who watches everything in 16:9.Your opinions don't turn out good![]()
And PSG was the #1 anime of 2010, then?Sure they did. AnoHana was a top 10 anime of 2011.

I don't.I respect the will of the people. Even if they are wrong once in a while.
This is why I'm on the Tsuritama train. Too many people riding the Apollon one. When it derails, it will be horrible.
Apollon and Tsuritama will be the last push of good noitaminA before it turns into a timeslot dedicated to an endless amount of even shittier Guilty Crown and BRS knock-off's.
But those didn't turn out good.

Clearly, AnimeGAF needs to have a representative democracy. Everyone knows straight democracy doesn't work.I respect the will of the people. Even if they are wrong once in a while.
I certainly hope there aren't more people like you.I can't seriously be the only person who does that![]()

Guilty Crown 18
Am I watching Guilty Crown or X-men?
I can't seriously be the only person who does that![]()
You're not but you're keeping company with my Grandpa who has an HDTV and has no idea that just plugging in composite cables won't give you HD picture.
I certainly hope there aren't more people like you.
If it's any consolation, I used to de-widen wide headed Madoka in an avatar.
Not like she did a bad job with Hôrô Musuko...
You could land a plane on that head.
Doujin Crown 18:
Really, at this point there's nothing left to say about this show except:
loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Every week posts like these tempt to me to get into the show, but every week I resist.
i hate to admit it but i currently got $20 running on whether or not guilty crowns ends up with a shitty reset ending. it fucking better or i'm gonna be mad as hell.
Also, i'm excited for the new character in Lagrange this week. Her bio on the site is interesting. Also, she's hnnngghhhh.
Amagami SS+ - 08
How sweet, now to endure Sae for the next 2 episodes hoooraaay. -_-

Even in the context of Guilty Crown as an abject failure it is nowhere near charming enough to leave any impression that isn't empty regret.Every week posts like these tempt to me to get into the show, but every week I resist.
Steins;Gate 25
Because some things are more important.
Fluff episode, but I was glad to see people again. Maybe I'm just a sap like that.
Two things:
Is it really that hard to find someone who knows how to pronounce English words to play native English-speaking characters? Even Penguindrum managed that much.
And, thanks to the law of conservation of characters, it seems like the taxi driver is the same guy who Okabe met in that Akihabara alley. And he's the only taxi driver in LA.
Speaking of which, this is some crazy bizarro universe LA. I don't know how I feel about it being represented this way, as this weird mix of Japan and some fascist police state where you can't make exaggerated gestures on the street while speaking a foreign language.
I don't.

Why can't you just watch stuff the right way?Old people are experienced, your Grandpa could teach you a thing or two.
Ask him what he thinks of AnoHana sometime.
I've been changing the aspect ratio back (temporarily) to take screenshots for GAF lately and this is the thanks I get? D:

Anyway, it's only a problem for anime not native 16:9. I don't know how many of the anime I've watched this last few years that includes, but it's bound to be a majority.

Why would that even tempt you, the show is just plain bad, I can only imagine that these people saying "lol" are just laughing at themselves for continuing it.![]()

Just watched the OVA this morning and I found it awesome. Then again I'm a massive Steins;Gate fan. The games, the anime, the merchandise. Give it all to me. Can't wait for the movie.
It's not really the law of conservation of characters, it's more an easter egg showing that in this world line the pin badge mister never goes to Japan and becomes a Taxi driver in LA. The whole thing about Okabe being arrested is first time he says he's come to conquer and second time it was for comedic purposes.
The maid cafe is there in LA as Feyris sets one up for the time when she's in LA for the tournament she's going to (the rai-net battle one which is why they all get to go in the first place) . I really don't get what you mean about the native speaker stuff though.
Maybe you are the only one on GAF but I know of few people from other places who do the same
I an throughly confused, not only by the latest Black Rock Shooter episode, but to why you guys are still watching Guilty Crown.
Every week posts like these tempt to me to get into the show, but every week I resist.
So you're confused as to why people still watch Guilty Crown, and yet you're still watching BRS? hmmmm....
Well, there's been 18 episodes for you all to drop the show. Thankfully I got it over with after the first episode.
I've still yet to check out BRS, though. What shall I do D:
You can stay sane, or you can let the show carve the suffering out of you.

*gulp* Well, that certainly piques my interest but that's how these shows typically catch you...
Once you start, there is no escape

What's the relationship between these two and why does glasses girl have to do everything the blonde girl is asking for?
