If this happens I'm going to be even more annoyed that we didn't sign anyone in the transfer window.

This is a boneheaded decision is he does leave. He came up with that brilliant cross for your last league goal against Sunderland, he can still offer something. The Arsenal bench is going to be tragic on Sunday.

I'm hearing rumours Newcastle have now completed the "signing" as it were (deal takes effect in the Summer) of Romain Amalfitano from Reims.

Like it wasn't before. I agree this is incredibly stupid, Especially at this stage.

Is Arshavin actually going? Last I heard the deal fell through but that was yesterday.

Sky are saying that Zenit have now agreed a £1m loan fee and the paperwork is being down right now.

Gah not sure how I feel. On one hand maybe this is a sign that Arsenal are going to start off loading most of the under performers this summer. On the other hand, he looked good when he last played. Not the best time to lose someone.

Oh well maybe Ox will become a regular now to fill that gap.

Then we should do it in the summer not now, this doesn't benefit us at all, we make some money back not paying for his wages but that is about it. We have no cover there at all and everyone seems to be getting injured lately.

Arshavin is under performing, but at least he had talent to begin with.

I don't feel like this is a positive thing for Arsenal at all. All that remains are the ones who have zero fucking talent to begin with AND are under performing.

A wiser keeper would've come and plucked that no bother. Chest height, 4 yards out...

Shelvey going on loan to middlesborough. I really like him and it's disappointing we recall him from loan, don't play him, and then send him away again.

The sad thing is that this isn't totally absurd either. Only 1 year left in the contract in summer and I said a few days ago that Dortmund is like the only place where Santana is valued as much as he should. It's no secret that Santana won't sit on the bench for another year and I don't think Watzke, Zorc or Klopp will refuse him to go or make it impossible by asking for 10m or something. We're gonna get 5m if we're lucky. Watch him leave Gladbach in one or two years for 10m+, though.

he's my favourite dortmund player to be honest. a true professional and a great football player. always fair and I've never saw him diving or anything like that.
his place is not the bench.

Lots of "lol" worthy positions. I mean, Milan clubs ? C'mon Milanese, move your ass to San Siro more regularly.

I love him. It always hurts a bit to see him sit on the bench, I think Klopp could give him three or four more matches a season beside those when Subotic is injured. Wouldn't have hurt if he played against Berlin for example. But I guess it makes sense not to change a strong defense, too.

I'll be happy for Felipe if he ends up at a good club. I'd be okay with Gladbach, he could play CL and hopefully he'll get in the Brazil squad for the WC.

Maybe he stays, but I doubt Subotic will go after this season. His CL performances weren't really great and he won't play at the Euro either. So that pretty much rules out Santana staying.

Seriously? This shit really infuriates me. So what happens when Adam/Gerrard/Stevie get injured? Recall him again?

I'm glad he's at a much better chance of getting games now, the lad truly deserves it, and I rate him highly over Adam and Henderson. Always hoped to see him appear in the starting lineup after those sublime contributions against Oldham and Aston Villa.

Another important metric I think is to take in account the stadium capacity as well. You can see which home grounds are the hottest around:

I am particularly impressed by Tijuana (lol)

89,7 % on average for Juve. That's a miracle in Italy.

Milan 56,4 %, Inter 54,9 %, Roma 50,0 % and Lazio 44,5 %. Guess it was the right decision reducing the capacity.

A half empty San Siro is still in 40ks but it kills the atmosphere.

Again, regarding attendances, I would be particularly proud if I was a Newcastle fan. Even in the second division, their affluence was quite high and it is third club of England in terms of fan support in the stadium.

Good way of looking at it but these days the figure given by the club are very obviously not correct. A few weeks ago Arsenal said they had a 59,000 crowd but it was clear to the naked eye that more than 1,000 seats were left empty.

Anyhow, German clubs doing well as usual. Such a great business model in Bundesliga which caters for fans. United have been struggling to sell out fully for a couple of years now and the high prices (actually not too bad compared to some other English clubs) aren't helping. I was impressed we had as good an attendance as we did against Ajax. Expecting that to drop for the game against Bilbao.

Estadio Caliente was expanded in 2008 to 33k. Not sure what their current attendance is.

edit
15 000 against league leaders Cruz Azul, so that image must be correct. Half-empty á la San Siro.

Amazing to see this with the shower of shite that plays for us these days

Fuck it, started a FIFA career with Borussia Dortmund. Nice little squad though shame about the monies you start with. 20m Euros. :( I'll see what I can do with this amount.

I'm not sure if it still works but there was a bug in career mode where you could sign pretty much anyone on loan as long as you put the future fee up to a really high amount.

Haha nice.

Btw EA need to seriously sort their shit out. For me to acquire Reus as Dortmund, I'd have to buy him outright, despite the pre-contract in place in real life where he's actually joining in the Summer. EA needs to take this sort of stuff in to consideration. Fuck.

I wanted to see him play games... with Gerrard. :(
Guy has big potential and I don't know why they don't give him more chances.

It is correct! The 1,000 seats are tickets held by third party sellers! As far as they're concerned, the ticket is sold.

fuck this referee...this wasn't a foul and the goal was offisde...

hamburg playing better than expected but without having any goal scenes... i thought they would lose the game 4 or 5:0 .... but their is still time to reach this score :D

Great glitch in last years game, Ibra was on loan from barca to milan (technically he was) and at the end milan were to buy him. Fifa does not know this so ibra reverts back to you for free for your second season as barca.

So Arshavin has gone, reported on his site he'll wear the number 29 at Zenit.

I know most people will think of his four goals at Anfield as his best moment but for me this was the best thing he did in an Arsenal shirt.

Any injury to Gervinho or Chamberlain now and we are short...

Disappointing really, we never got the best out of Arshavin and it is embarrasing that he is our record signing.
