How likely is it that the blue and red crystals ARE symbolic of the typing of the legendaries, and not *cough* anything else?

I mean I dunno, I'm just not seeing it. There wasn't anything like that in the B&W logos. And every other logo was always the solid color of its version name.

Only thing that comes to mind are the logos of the 4 remakes (each had a symbol of the remake suffix, fire/leaf/heart/soul). You know where I'm going with this.

Anybody who thinks it means Hoenn is fooling themselves. GameFreak will want to exploit that region with a Gen VI R/S/E remake, not before.

It doesn't seem very subtle to me. Even the webpage has shiny, sparkly stuff all over. I think it's definitely hinting at gemstones.

Because both teams are working on different Pokemon games simultaneously so that we can have a consistent flow of Pokemon games, instead of only getting new games like every 4-5 years and to avoid risking delays like how Pocket Monsters 2 (Pokemon Gold/Silver) ended up taking longer than originally intended.

There's no precedent to numbered sequels to mainline Pokemon games.

What about the OP isn't clear? It's all that's been confirmed.

- Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are coming
- They release in June for Japan
- They include two new forms of Kyurem: Black Kyurem and White Kyurem
- They are both for the Nintendo DS

There's really not much else to know. We know it's called "2", it's coming out in June in Japan and TBA everywhere else, and there will be 2 new forms of Kyurem. They are called White Kyurem and Black Kyurem. That's it. Everything else in this thread is speculation.
